It was pleasant. I stopped by the Hyundai of Columbia dealership after leaving the Toyota dealership down the road. I was not impressed with how things were handle because I guess everyone wanted to go home (it was 6:30 when we started paperwork and they close at 8) he said he was pulling the car to get cleaned and I walked outside and everyone turned the lights off on me and locked the doors so I was just sitting outside in the dark waiting for him to return with my car. But bill was very friendly and I got a fantastic price on the car. I would recommend this dealership. Just I guess show up when they open. (I showed up at 5pm) More

Rude people! Can't do paperwork properly Nov 9 2017 I purchased a car from them. They got the payoff of my trade in wrong and tried to make me pay for their mistake. Matt the finance manager is the rudest person I have ever spoken to, he is the type that speaks down to women. Regina in the title department messed up on the title paperwork as well. Today is Feb 23 2018 my bank just got the title after having to go there to get it, my bank also now has to pay to fix their mistakes. There were several calls to them and they did nothing to make the situation right. I will never be back or recommend anyone to go there. More

Its a bit long. Here's my story with Hyundai. It was absolutely awful, even stealing items out of our truck, but they wanted me to write a review... so here you go. On July 11, we purchased a Nissan Titan from Hyundai of Columbia. The next morning (7/12) after purchasing it, it smoked up our whole front yard. This matter was discussed with Larry the Service Advisor, and he said that is just what Nissans do..Right. Also, a week after purchasing the Nissan, we find that our monthly payment would NOT be what they said it would be and would actually be higher. Icing on the cake. Anyways..back to the problems with the truck. Larry told us to fill it with 93 grade gas a couple times and it should fix itself. Nope. It doesnt. When driving back from Nashville only a couple weeks after purchasing it, it starts shaking and the check engine light starts blinking rapidly. We pull over, check the oil, and there is NO oil on the dipstick. We take it into Nissan of Columbia (I wouldn't want them touching my car after they failed to even catch it) and they couldn't believe Hyundai sold us this awful truck. They said it was clear the previous owner hardly ever got the oil changed, and it would need a new engine due to so much built up oil sludge. It had already done a lot of damage. We purchased the extended warranty; however, it would not cover it due to maintenance neglect. Nice. We discuss this with Hyundai. We just want them to make it right. We haven't even owned this truck a month. So they allow us to do a trade. Our monthly payment is now even more per month, so no, our experience with Hyundai has not been good. ..But it keeps getting "better". After the trade, they still had possession of the Nissan Titan. We tell them we will be by to collect our things out of the Nissan Titan. Today we arrive to collect our belongings, and lo and behold, they have sent the Nissan Titan to auction with all of our belongings STILL in the Nissan. Also, in the new truck we received, we just noticed the washer sprayer doesn't work. There is a lot of disorganization within this new business in Columbia. Our whole experience has been awful. Update--We could not access our Nissan Titan which still had our stuff in it after doing the trade. After finally accessing it, it had not been detailed (so I know those who work in detail didn't steal it). However, all of our more more expensive items in the Nissan were stolen out of it. Never use this dealership! Also, Brian, one of the general managers at Hyundai told me "Not our problem". Since we were rudely cursed at by the general manager, Brian Rutland who failed to assess the situation (we already called corporate and filed a complaint), we are now in the process of filing a complaint with the BBB. Just a warning, stay far away from this dealership. More
