Not the best experience I was a returning customer, going from a leased Hyundai Accent to a new, virtually identical Hyundai Accent. A very easy sale as the price was really the only thing that needed to be discussed. My salesperson, although polite and cordial, wasn't too well versed in what could/could not be done (ie: lease versus buy; purchase price; etc...he had to continually go to the sales manager. I know he was relatively new to the business. Once we agreed to proceed with the deal, I waited a substantial amount of time to get into the finance area. The contact there was informative and did not over-push the 'extras'. However, in the discussion, I asked about oil changes for the first year which I was assured there was some aspect of 'free', but we'd find out for sure. Also because I did not have my check-book, I was to return the next day with my down payment. The finance person was not going to be there, but he was going to introduce me to somebody who would be there. Anyway, as the conversation went on, the oil change confirmation and the introduction fell to the wayside. Returning to the salesperson, I again asked about the oil changes. He did not know, but asked. Basically I was told to bring the car in to the service department when it was time for an oil change, and they would have the specifics. I'm going to be somewhat negative in thinking that when the time comes, may not go as smoothly as it sounds. After going through the entire process (roughly 2 1/2 hours), the car which was going to be getting cleaned up as I was going through the process hadn't yet been touched. I ended up leaving and coming back later....at which point, I was met in the parking lot by the sales person who handed me the keys and basically left once I took a walk around the car. I received nothing in terms of any kind of sales folder, brochures, warranty info, etc. The owners manual was in the trunk along with the floor-mats. I still have no definite idea about the oil changes. I felt there was a lack of knowledge as to who was supposed to address what.....in turn, I felt I got short-changed in terms of being a well informed customer. Nobody was rude or truly unprofessional in any sense and perhaps I caught everybody on a bad day ......but just having committed to spending thousands of dollars, I expected to leave the dealership feeling more appreciated as a customer than I did. More

After leasing 5 vehicles I do feel that those ticket items that they try to sell to you in the finance department, they should give you at least of those items for free or at least a GREAT reduction in price, other than that I will be back for my next vehicle. I am not done driving Hyundai vehicles there are a couple more that I would love to drive. Chuck Ardary is my salesperson and I recommend him highly. More
