Prior to visiting Huttig Nissan in Plattsburgh, i shopped around from other dealerships in the Plattsburgh area, as well as downstate New York. The friendliness of the staff at Huttig is top notch, they honestly make you feel at home and apart of a family. The day I stopped in, to "check things out" I was with my boyfriend and my 5 month old chocolate lab and it couldn't of been one of the hottest fall days being almost 90 degrees, Tammy, the sales rep I had the pleasure of doing business with not only took care of me but also my boyfriend and my dog, she allowed me to bring my dog on the test drive, as well as providing ample amounts of water to all of us. I picked my own vehicle out, and the moment I got in and test drove the 2017.5 rogue sv, I was in love. The entire experience was nothing short of amazing and I am so very happy. She made it a point to get to know me and my needs, and told me that she had a car in mind for me. We went out to look at it and it was a Rogue, which I had fallen in love with when I had it as a rental car after my accident in July. Not only was it a model that I loved, but the color was PERFECT for me! Dark Cherry, which has a sparkly purple sheen to it, and purple is my favorite color! I test drove it and knew within just a few minutes that it was the vehicle for me. I went back to talk to Tammy some more, crunch numbers, etc. She was so helpful and attentive to my needs! I went back today to pick up my new car and worked with Tim on buying into the protection plans available to me. He was honest with me about what type of coverage he would consider best, not only for what my needs were, but what coverage he requires his own family to carry. The fact that he explained every policy to me and put the numbers right there in front of me, but then recommended a plan to me personally based on what he would tell his own family to do meant a lot! I felt like he really cared about making sure that I had the best value in coverage. Overall my experience was top notch! I have only ever worked with one dealer before and the experience was good, but I feel like this experience was just above and beyond with the attentiveness and personal touches afforded to me by the staff! Tammy even introduced me to someone in the service department, so that I would know who to talk to when I come in for my maintenance. Very impressed with the service!! More
