He was my salesperson on my recent purchase of a Toyota Prius. The process took quite a while due to the high demand and low supply of the Prius I was looking for. Throughout the entire experience, George kept me updated and was very helpful. His response time was quick any time I had a question. George and his sales manager, Juan Morrisette, worked together and ended up securing the vehicle sooner than expected, which was a very pleasant surprise. George acted quickly and got the vehicle ready to go as promised on the day he said he would. One of the most important traits of successful people is that they do what they say they are going to do and George followed through on everything he said. I really appreciate this type of personal attention and service. George's intelligence, people skills, and friendly manner make him a future asset to the Penske Automotive/Hudson Toyota companies. The dealer, William, was very helpful. He was very friendly and if he was unsure about something he would find out very quickly for me. I had great experience during my last visit @ hudson toyota. Staff was very costeous and helpful. Product line was great, Sales person (Qulzam Zaman) and his manager (Muhammad Manzoor) helped me to make toyota. Staff was very costeous and helpful. They had a great sense of professionalism and complete knowledge of their product line. One thing I liked about this dealership was the clear exposure of their prices without any hidden negotiation. It was bit easier for me since I had an excellent credit but sales man showed great deal of compassion and flexibility during the deal. Above all, they take care of all the paper work very efficiently and make sure that client is aware of the rights and responsibilities belong to him. More
Salespersons are horrible. They promised on one price but we couldnot finalize the deal because they didnt have the color. So we came back on monday to put teh deposit and wasted another 3 hours only to find we couldnot finalize the deal because they didnt have the color. Never go to this dealer. They made us wait for the color i wanted for a week and still no news from them. HUDSON TOYOTA IS THE WORST PLACE TO BUY YOUR CAR. More
We were there to buy the new car and we were almost settled on the price but they didn't have the car. So they ask us to come back. When we went back they disagreed on the price. This is the first time I went to dealership and tried to buy a new car. They took my car key/registration for trade in quote. 3 hours later, they told me my car only worth $500... The only good thing i can say about that dealership is Mike the salesman, he has no control over the decisions so he is trapped, he's a very nice guy. Mario Fernadez is quite the opposite!! I was five minutes from putting my hands around his throat but i kept my composure. My experience with these guys were they were trying to sell you a car by any means necessary, I was interested in a certified used vehicle, i found out it was way less than that. That did not concern Mario, he wanted me to give him a down payment and then they would fix the vehicle, that is crazy!! They were all over all skeemers! They're probably a few other nice people there i ran in to others but that place is mostly filled with crooks and Mario Fernandez is the God Father of them all!!!!!!!!! More
After receiving a promotional email offer for a Toyota Highlander Hybrid, I went in with the email intending to see the sales team that sent it. A pack of salesman were hovering near the entrance and swooped in. In hindsight, I should have insisted on seeing the sending team, but we were intercepted and given the long sell to wear down. Although I made it clear I just wanted to see a specific model (thankfully I had researched the available cars on the lot), they tried the old tactic of showing the higher trim. Delaying. Going to a different salesperson. Then offering a great deal on financing and the "optional components." Delaying. And then insisting that they had to charge for the remote charger, floor mats, etc. It dragged on and on with additional service after additional service. They did a fairly good job of wearing you down here, but thankfully I got out of there without going for their bargain extras. I did throw in the towel over some $700 worth of "extras" just to get out thought - so I suppose the wearing down tactic worked... More
I never seen such a sick salesperson, have you ever seen a salesperson gets mad and yell at you "I WASTED TOO MUCH TIME ON YOU". Well I got someone like that. Have you ever got your deal canceled by the dealer and gotten rid of by the dealer in the last minute? Well I got that. Long story short, the salesperson is really pushy and psycho. I was trying to negotiate with him politely and I've shown him offers from other dealers to convince him that his price is too high. He wasted my time too much by going to his manager and coming back to me. Finally after 5 hours, we finally reached an agreement. Then when we started to do the contract, I picked the car even though I had to pick a car with more options because their inventory is short (more on inventory later). Then I asked the salesperson how many miles you're giving me on this lease, he said 12k. I said oh I thought it was 15k. At that point he went beyond the limits and threw keys at the table and walked away yelling at me "I WASTED TOO MUCH TIME ON YOU", the he took all the papers and left. I was really shocked and everyone in the room was looking at me. I went to manager to complete this deal because it was good. However, I started complaining there about the salesperson. Instead of making me happy, the manager felt that I'm unhappy and I would give him low rating in the survey. He said I'd rather not sell the car instead of getting low rating. I hoped he just yell to the salesperson or making him apologize. Instead, he came up with stupidest excuse to get rid of me. He said the car should be insured by the primary applicant and can't be insured by the co-buyer (even though I did that with a Honda). He just started to give me excuses for every solution I come up with. Also,they said they will agree on offer I gave them if the co-applicant have score of 700+. I said ok and gave co-applicant SSN. After they ran a credit check,even though the co-applicant had excellent score with more than 700, they gave me totally different numbers for the car I wanted and then said they'll give me the cheaper trim for the price I offered. I had to go with the cheaper trim after they ran credit check. Inventory was really bad, he told me they have the car with the color I wanted. But after we nearly closed the deal, we found they have only one color available and the color I wanted is available with more options, so I had to pay more to get the color I wanted. More
I purchased my 2008 Toyota tacoma from them. During the transaction Bill Graziano (Sales Manager) came over and told me the truck had an alarm, Lojack, remote starter, and Rustproofing. We went back and forth and finally agreed on $500.00 for the the 4 things. I was told by him that I would receive the paperwork in the mail. He told me that the rustproofing had a lifetime warranty and was transferable incase I sold the truck. 2 months went by and nothing in the mail. I contact Hudson Toyota (Route 440 Jersey City, NJ) 3 times and asked for the paperwork. I always got the same answer "Someone will get back to you", noone ever did. I then contacted Toyota Corporation and explained my situation. About 1 week later Ms. Clarisse Miller telephoned me and told me she had my paperwork and would mail it to me. 1 week later I did receive the paperwork, the only problem is, it wasn't what I had paid for. I again called them and spoke with the sales manager Bill Graziano, he advised me what I got was correct. I advised him that what I got was a piece of paper stating I had gotten a wax job on the truck and it had a 5 year warranty that wasn't transferrable. We went back and forth and he said that they don't offer Rustproofing. We continued to discuss the problem and he finally let it slip that what I paid for was only worth $100.00 (imagine something with a warranty at a dealer only worth $100.00), and that he would refund me $50.00. I asked him, "Why would I accept $50.00 for something I paid $100.00"? I contacted the Better Business Bureau, they sent my complaint and again nothing was resolved. They offered me $50.00 again. I declined the offer. I didn't hear anything again. A couple of weeks later I receive a phone call from Bill Graziano. He goes on to say that the company will not reimburse me anything because there is no proof I paid for this service. Like I told Ms. Clarisse Miller, $50.00 or $100.00 is not going to make a difference in my life, but this dealership won't even deliver on a promise that they make to the BBB. If you walk into Hudson Toyota and Bill Graziano approaches you, RUN out of there as quick as possible. If you decide to make a deal with him make sure you get everything written down in detail.
