And, like all relationships and important decisions, it requires trust. My visit to Hudson Auto Group was a first rate experience because of the trust Chito Encarcion established with my wife and me. (He did want to sell us a 1934 Pontiac but I insisted on a 2011 Subaru. Just kidding. It was a 1942 Chevrolet). Chito has a wonderful way of putting you at ease. He knows what he is talking about. He cares. He has called me three times since the purchase to make sure everything was OK .He offers to come to your home twice a week to wash the car. Chito is knowledgable and confident - but not pushy or demanding. Many folks I know have sung praises about Subaru.This is my first - and now I understand why they love their Subaru. I was dealing with 4 other dealers on-line but Hudson Subaru/Jeremy is the only one who gave me bottom price with detail information. My husband and I went into the dealer on Friday night (02/04/2011) and bought new 2011 Subaru Outback within in an hour. When I left Hudson Subaru I felt like part of the their family. Everyone treated me great. I did a lot of research on the Forester and they gave me a great deal. Even though I had a positive experience with Chito Encarnacion of Salerno Duane Subaru (now Hudson Subaru) when I purchased my first Subaru in 2004, I decided to go to Liberty Subaru this year because Encarnacion of Salerno Duane Subaru (now Hudson Subaru) when I purchased my first Subaru in 2004, I decided to go to Liberty Subaru this year because of their proximity to my current home, and because I was pleased by their Service staff whenever I went to their location for my routine maintenance visits in the past several years. When I arrived at the dealership with my 9-month-old daughter in a stroller (who was well-behaved the entire time I was at the dealership), I took a couple of minutes to look at the Forester and then stayed put in one spot close to the main desk where an employee was sitting and talking with another employee. For the 5 minutes I waited, I made eye contact with several other employees, some smiled, but not one of them approached me to ask if I needed any help. When the employee at the desk stood up and was ready to walk away, I had to say I needed assistance. As I was leaving the dealership, one employee saw me heading out the door, but did not stop to open the door for me or assist me with getting the stroller down the step. I don't think it was unreasonable for me to expect to be greeted when I arrived at the showroom or be assisted with having the door held open as I awkwardly negotiated the stroller down the step. If I was a first-time Subaru customer, I would probably have been turned off from Subaru completely and headed to another company. Thankfully, I had a pleasant experience back in 2004 with Chito Encarnacion and so I know where else to go for far better customer service. Additionally, I've been very pleased with my 2004 Forester, which we are keeping, and choose to remain loyal to Subaru now that my husband and I are in the market for an additional vehicle. However, I'm sorry to say that my experience at the showroom was enough to keep me from ever going back to Liberty Subaru for any of my future Subaru needs. I told my husband about my experience and he concurs. My husband, daughter, and I met with Chito Encarnacion and Frank Valanzola of Hudson Subaru on 1/22/11. We finalized our purchase of a 2011 Forester and had such a pleasant experience the whole time we were there. We felt welcome from the very beginning. They answered all our questions to our complete satisfaction. Even my husband, who has never been to a Subaru dealership, was absolutely impressed by them. He even expressed interest in purchasing a Legacy from them someday if our finances should ever allow it. We just wanted to express our sincerest compliments to Hudson Subaru.
