Very dissatisfied with my services. I decided to purchase and finance through my bank. I had everything I needed except the pay off paperwork. I mistakenly called the dealership for guidance on how to obtain it. Stephen Sanchez said I had to schedule an inspection. Once I was there he had me do a finance application while assuring me it was standard protocol and my credit wouldn’t be ran. All lies. The Financial manager Keith asked us to join him in his office where he laid out an additional $11,000 in warranties and extras as well as their interest rate. I wasn’t interested in any of this and very confused since I came in for something simple. Keith was frustrated with me and finally realized I wasn’t purchasing any extras. He tried to have other sales persons reason with me and even translate although I speak perfect English. What they claimed was “protocol” was a new contract called a retail installment agreement. I’m genuinely upset and frustrated because it wasn’t necessary and I was essentially tricked into it. I called Mercedes financials 1-800 number the next day and to my surprise they validated my concerns. The dealership does not and cannot provide the payoff sheet. I have to get it through Mercedes Financial. Stephen and Keith were dishonest. All they had to do was refer me to the 1-800 number instead they had me in their office for 4 hours gaslighting me. I called to speak to a manager who couldn’t care less. He claimed they did me a “favor” and saved me time from going to the DMV. Another lie. I had paid for the registration, gotten approved by my bank, scheduled a smog check and simply needed the final payoff sheet. I believed Stephen when he claimed I needed the last inspection, it was not necessary since I’m purchasing. I believed him when he claimed he wasn’t running my credit and it was standard protocol. I feel awful and taken advantage of. More
