Terrible service, I took my car in for a check on the the engine light at the Buena Park, CA dealership first. I informed them of it, the car had gone on limb mode twice already, in the freeway it shut off. engine light at the Buena Park, CA dealership first. I then requested a copy of their diagnostic report, and Service Advisor Allison Enciso stated that I had to pay $299.99 for it, otherwise they could not provide me with it and I refused to pay that amount. They also stated they performed a motor electronics update, and cleared fault codes. I then took the car to MBZ of Long Beach, and it was pretty much the same story and treatment. Colby S. the service supervisor said the engine light needed to be on at the time of testing, otherwise they couldn't justify the repair with Mercedes Benz of USA, and I had to pay $245.00 in order for them to perform the test again, he stated that if the pump was bad, I'd get a refund. They came up with no fault code. I picked up my car, and the engine light went on again, and stayed on for about 4 hours, I then took pictures of it, showing time and mileage, and took the car back to them. I was without a car for several days, they do not offer loaners any more, unless you schedule an appointment ( my crystal ball didn't warn me of the of the" high pressure fuel pump malfunction") The extended warranty was expiring in two weeks, and since I was going out of town I requested an extension on the warranty, they said no can do. Therefore, I had to leave my car at their facility on May 18, 2023. When I went to pick up my car on 6/2, I asked for a refund of my $245.00 and Colby refused to do it, getting upset, whining and crying, giving me the run around, he had me call Mercedes Benz USA to ask for it, and they said no, that The Long Beach dealer had to refund me. The representative from MBZ USA had to call the service supervisor Colby S. at the Long Beach CA facility to speak to him about my refund. Colby also said that the car was not under warranty that "IT WAS UNDER EXTENDED WARRANTY" and they should not pick up the tab? That I should pay for it, how smart is that coming from the Service Supervisor at Mercedes Benz? Anyway, it was a long battle with the two dealerships, the Buena Park, CA & the Long Beach CA that started on May 8, 'til June 2, 2023. IT was a horrible experience, I went to something similar with both dealers two years ago on my air conditioner system, and it was still under the two year warranty I had purchased through them! My mechanic had to go with me to show them (service supervisor, and their Manager as well) the fault with the A/C, since both dealers kept saying there was nothing wrong with it!!! They made me feel that they do not care about the customers safety and satisfaction at all. I will not be dealing with them again!!! More
i just bought the car one week the oil sump in the transmission need to be changed.
