Great experience here! The people were friendly and very helpful. Glenn helped find a suitable car within my criteria and Jim was so efficient with the paperwork. He has always been a great help everytime I go in there. The only thing I think the dealership could do better is the detailing department. The inside of my truck could have been detailed better as well as the exterior. Still had dirt in the carpet and exterior had a lot of water spots. More

Believe the bad reviews on Yelp! This place is shady with a capital ‘S’. On two difference occasions, we had inquired about a Ram pick-up and received so many different responses with regard to final price. a capital ‘S’. At one point, the salesman, Ed O’Brien, claimed that ALL dealerships in the Southeast have suspended rebates on vehicles and the Affiliates Rewards program. Apparently, it happened at exactly midnight on Monday – very specific timing. Also, note that the final price that they show on their website for any vehicle is bogus – it’s clickbait, essentially. I have a voicemail from Ed that actually states that I had lost over $3,000 in rebates as of midnight on Monday because Chrysler suspended all rebates. Apparently, this was due to a fire in a Chinese computer chip-making factory. Then, I was told that there will be a severe shortage of trucks over the next 30 days which is why no dealerships are honoring the Affiliate Rewards program. So, I called the Affiliate Rewards program to confirm this information and I was told that this was the first they heard of this “suspension.” Tristan said that if Chrysler/Fiat had suspended this program, she’s sure that she would have been notified. Even doing a Google search, there’s absolutely nothing supporting what Ed and his manager were claiming. So, then I called 2 other dealerships in the area and they also had not heard of the Affiliate Rewards program being suspended or rebates being terminated altogether. So, I asked Ed to clarify this and, what do you know, he called me back to say that it is, in fact, just Hoover Dodge Summerville that isn’t honoring the Affiliates Rewards program. He said that dealerships are upset that they’re not making money because of a shortage of vehicles coming out of the factory due to the chip shortage. My recommendation to Ed, his manager and all of the other employees there is to not speak on behalf of ALL dealerships in the Southeast. Before even having that conversation with Ed, my husband had a conversation with CJ about a pickup 2 weeks earlier. They had gone back and forth about the price and finally, my husband had asked to CJ to send over the final number, in writing, and there was a line called ‘Total Financed Aftermarkets’ actually adding over $4,000 to the price. This was never discussed prior to receiving the proposal. When questions, CJ said they had to this because this particular vehicle came with special floor mats, lug bolts and edge guards. We couldn’t believe it especially since the items he listed definitely don’t total $4,000. It’s kind of like the shell game or smoke and mirrors. So, after dealing with 2 different salespeople on 2 different occasions and being given really weird reasons for them jacking up the final price, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. Car buying is stressful enough, but when you’re dealing with people that are out to squeeze every dollar from the public, many of whom are struggling themselves, it shows very poor salesmanship. I think everyone is aware that there is a shortage of computer chips and inventory, but at least be transparent about your pricing; don’t add on items without first discussing them with the customer; don’t make blanket statements about ALL dealers; don’t show a final price on your website that’s $10,000 less than MSRP when you know NO one is going to qualify for every rebate when you’re no longer offering rebates. More

I purchased my 2021 Jeep Wrangler from Hoover Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and I am absolutely loving this Snazzy Snazberry beauty! KJ Roberts sold me on this Jeep the first moment I saw it but... we had some Dodge Jeep Ram and I am absolutely loving this Snazzy Snazberry beauty! KJ Roberts sold me on this Jeep the first moment I saw it but... we had some work to do to get me to pull the trigger. KJ was instrumental in helping my deal happen. He was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I thoroughly recommend KJ Roberts and this dealership. Everyone from the Sales manager to the finance guru were awesome to work with.
