I have been going here for years and the service is always poor. They have a high turnover with their service advisors. Therefore, you never have the same person. If there were other Cadillac dealers always poor. They have a high turnover with their service advisors. Therefore, you never have the same person. If there were other Cadillac dealers on the island, I wouldn’t hesitate to go to another location. This location is terrible and don’t care about their customers. Once they make the sale you are treated like terrible. The customer service should extend from sales into the service center. This is not the case and never has been. Very sad as their is no Aloha for this location. More
Very disappointed in the service dept. Dropped off my Cadillac for my 11:30 am appointment to switch out the Que system which was estimated to take about an hour. Also asked them to check air in tires cause Onstar diagnostic reported tire pressure low. Service agent assured me that the 17 point inspection would be done. It was not done. Received e-mail on Nov. 14, 2021 that my safety check expired June 2021. I was cited for expired safety check on Aug 20, 2021. My car was serviced on July 9, 2021. Oil change and 27 point inspection. They failed to renew my safety check. Always told estimated wait time about 1 hour. Never waited less than 2 1/2 hours. More
Had to wait a week twice for two different parts orders. Car came back absolutely filthy. Been parked under a tree for several days and had tree debris all over the car. Receptionist was informed that my vehicle was blocked in and she was conversing with another employee in the parking lot after I told her I was in a rush. I am surprised of how staff upholds service from a reputable luxury dealership. I would expect it from a sales car lot instead. More

I brought my vehicle in for an oil change and safety inspection. We completed oil change and was denied safety inspection due to tires. So we left the service center and went home. We decided to take our encore to get new tires from Costco. Costco didn’t have our tires in stock so we just decided to go shopping for items needed at home. When we got home I noticed a puddle of some kind of liquid. I checked it was oil from where my wife parked after returning from oil change. I then looked under the encore and noticed oil dripping onto my driveway. I call service center and informed them that my vehicle was leaking oil and was not leaking oil before oil change. Service center suggested I bring the vehicle back in. Then service center told me to get it towed in. I was upset and told them you guys work on my vehicle now it’s leaking and you want me to pay for my vehicle to get towed. Then they suggested I use my insurance for a tow. I was extremely upset at this point. Then Irene came on the phone. I was upset and yelling at Irene on the situation. Irene suggested I call Buick roadside assistance for a tow since I have that option. Irene told me to have my encore towed to service center that night so they could get started on it first thing in the morning. I scheduled tow truck to deliver that night. The tow truck driver called to verify drop off and was told they were closing shortly and could not drop off the vehicle. We got our encore towed the next morning. I called about 4 hours later to check on status of our encore. The person I spoke to said it was ready. She explained that when the technician took off the oil filter to be replaced. The technician did not take off the old gasket. So there was 2 gaskets which had made a space for oil to leak from. We bring our 2018 Buick Encore to the Buick service center thinking it is the best choice because they work on Buick’s all the time. If Honolulu Buick GMC can’t get an oil change right. I don’t trust them to do anything on my vehicle. My first encounter with Honolulu Buick GMC a year ago when I was shopping for a new car. Bad service then also. I probably will never return to this dealership. I will start servicing and shopping at Cutter. I have to live with the fact that having loss a lot of oil in my vehicle and still driving if I damaged it and will have future problems because a professional dealership can’t perform a simple oil change.
