I love Honda! We only own Hondas. I will keep buying Hondas. But I will not do so at Honda of the Avenues. We went in for two items for service: oil change and our We only own Hondas. I will keep buying Hondas. But I will not do so at Honda of the Avenues. We went in for two items for service: oil change and our back up camera popped off on the back of our Honda Pilot. We could hold the camera on and it was fully functioning just now staying on. Dan was the service lead. Oil change, great, hard to mess up. For the back up camera they said we needed a whole new one for $500. I said I’m good I will try doing myself. Dan says don’t use any glue it could mess it up. I’m waiting as they are finishing it up and he tells me that they were able to get it on but no video showing. Sure enough, they glued it back on and not working. I call Dan and he says to come back a week later because his tech is on vacation. I come back and he doesn’t even make tech look at it. Blames me and says there’s no one to tell that it was working before we brought it to them. He brings out his boss and she is just as helpless claiming no responsibility. So I will never be returning to this location and I hope you contemplate it as well. Bad apples will continue to be bad unless there is pressure. More
