What I found was Honda of Slidell, and Jeremy, the acquisitions manager going to bat for me on a simple question I had been asking other dealers, and never receiving any support... until him. It is hard to believe there are still folks out there who follow through on what they commit to do, and the motto, "above and beyond" just begins to scratch the surface of how he made me feel. Came prepared with Kelly Blue Book estimates of trade in values and the car we were interested in purchasing. We brought clear titles and registration so we were very prepared. Everyone at the dealership was professional and friendly. They have to be some of the hardest working folks you'll ever meet- I didn't see anyone who wasn't giving 110% to keep things moving- especially our salesman, Oscar. They gave us a very fair price both for our trade in and our new vehicle. Nevertheless, it took us about 5.5hrs total from test driving the vehicle we were interested in to processing two trade-ins. Selling and Buying cars is a lengthy process and there are always some wait times involved as things get processed. The dealership kindly provided complimentary water, popcorn, and cookies. I wish they had had some healthier options like fruit or bagels. My only suggestion would be to either pack a lunch or at least snacks. Overall though it was a great experience! More
