I came in to get an oil change for my ' 03 accord and was looking the new accords when hector asked if I would like to test drive one. He was courteous, friendly and easy to work with. Josh was the salesman who called me after i inquired about the truck,really cool guy who worked with me on getting this done. I was there all day and everyone was friendly and made it a point to stop by and talk, i worked at a Honda dealership in the past and it was nothing like Honda of Slidell, i recommended this dealership to anyone looking for a used car or a Honda. Service Department is the worst I ever experience in the 6 years that I owned my Honda. My first and last visit to Honda of Slidell. I dropped my Honda Accord off on Wednesday July 11,2012 at 0730 for an oi 6 years that I owned my Honda. My first and last visit to Honda of Slidell. I dropped my Honda Accord off on Wednesday July 11,2012 at 0730 for an oil change. After sitting for over (2) hours. My car still wasn't ready. I had a ride to pick me up,since I live up the highway. It wasn't until 12:30 that someone called me. I was informed that my vehicle timing belt needed to be replaced. I okayed the service for the new belt. Thursday July 12, Rodney (Service Manager) called and said, I needed some A/C work totaling $560. I didn't okay the air conditioning work. Friday July 13,2012 at 0805 (Rodney) called again to informed me that my A/C did not need all of the work that he previous told me and it would only cost $135. Well I approved the service at $135. Friday seven hours passed without me hearing anything from anyone at the dealer. It was 2:55 pm, so I decided to give the service department a call to see if my vehicle was ready for pickup. I was told " I'm not sure Mr. Doe let me go in the back and see. I will call you back in 5 minutes" needless to say no one called me back. 3 Days passed, I had no loaner car. Saturday July 14,2012 I took a taxi to the dealer to pick my car up ready or not. Worked that should have taken (1)day took (3) days. It's obvious the department is understaff and the costomers are sitting and waiting for hours and days for work that should be repaired much sooner. More

My experience with Honda of Slidell was very satisfying. Ashley was very welcoming and friendly, i had been waiting for this honda fit to go down on the price and when they lowered the price I flew over. I was pleasantly surprise with how smooth everything went including the lowering of the price a little more. the deal was as sweet and warm as their chocolate chip cookies. I give them an a+ in customer satisfaction, friendliness, and overall experience. I will recommend Honda of Slidell to anyone who is looking to purchase a car because I felt like I was with family. Dwayne was so knowledgeable about the new and used cars I was interested in. He did not pressure us into making a decision, nor did he call us contantly trying to get us to commit to buy. I had a horrible experience at a different dealer (Premier Honda) a few days before and was skeptical about going to this one but thank g work with. The length of time to work out the deal could be shortened but that seems to always take forever when buying a vehicle anywhere. My sales rep was super friendly and courteous the entire time. He even had a rep in training with him that was doing an excellent job. I look forward to upgrading my used vehicle to a new one at the same dealership in about 2 years! More

I had been researching the purchase of a new vehicle for around 2 months. Extensive research. I first reached out to Honda of Slidell while I was price shopping for my new vehicle, which I had determined around 2 months. Extensive research. I first reached out to Honda of Slidell while I was price shopping for my new vehicle, which I had determined to be a 2012 Honda CR-V. Holly Shurko was the first point of contact. She was very sweet and very professional at the same time. The price she gave me was very hard to believe considering that the dealership I had gone to for my test drive (a local Metairie dealership) was $3k more. I'm pretty sure I couldn't hide my surprise at the low price. So after weighing my different dealership options I took a trip to Slidell to buy my car. They were also the only dealership in the New Orleans area that had the specific trim level I wanted. David Nguyen was the first person that I met at the dealership and I'm so glad he was my salesman. My husband and I had to bring our daughter along, which I'm sure you can imagine is not the most enjoyable experience, but David was so helpful with her too. They had cookies for the kids, a play area, popcorn, and balloons. My daughter wants to go there every day! David took us to look at the car that I was interested in and we took it for a spin. I wanted that car, but only if the numbers were right. David assured me that he would work to get the best deal and he really worked for me in getting an even better deal than the initial low internet price. We settled on a purchase price and I was on my way to Dawn in the business office. Dawn was so nice and she also was ready to accommodate my daughter. She had crayons and toy cars. It was a really nice atmosphere. Dawn was very transparent with everything and I never felt like they were trying to dupe me. I felt like it was a great big family that I now belonged to because I was now a proud owner of my 2012 CR-V. Even days after I left and reflected on my experience and purchase, I've never been so happy with a car buying purchase. There are no regrets and I highly, highly, highly recommend Honda of Slidell and David Nguyen. There is a reason they have been voted TIME's dealer of the year. Very good experience! A++++++++ More
