"Refreshing" My past experiences with respect to purchasing new cars have been frustrating to say the least, but when I walked into Honda of Slidell, I was very fo My past experiences with respect to purchasing new cars have been frustrating to say the least, but when I walked into Honda of Slidell, I was very fortunate to have James Miller, whom I would like to give a 5 star rating as well, introduce himself to me and be the salesman with whom I would work in the purchase of my 2018 Honda Civic Hatchback. James showed remarkable professionalism from his initial introduction to me to the purchasing of the 2018 Honda Civic Hatchback along with his remarkable knowledge of the Honda automobiles. I spent quite a few hours with James as he helped me with the decision making by taking me on test drives in various models, Honda Fits and Honda Civics and answering all my questions as I struggled to make a decision. When Jeff Spangler, the Sales Manager, entered the conversation, he came across as unlike any other Sales Manager I have dealt with in purchasing previous vehicles which were somewhat negative experiences. I had come to have a disdain for car dealership sales managers but Jeff Spangler changed my view completely. He was the first Sales Manager whom I felt comfortable working with along with James Miller in the purchasing of the 2018 Honda Civic Hatchback from Honda of Slidell. Both Jeff and James along with Kristy Parrott in the Finance Department made the whole new car buying process "refreshing". My questions didn't end on the sales floor. Kristy Parrott in the Finance area was bombarded by my never ending questions regarding the financing of the 2018 Honda Civic Hatchback. She answered all my questions and went through the financing process step by step so I would completely understand the financing of my purchase by going over various financing options in detail.. Once the agreement was drawn up, she went over each line on the contract explaining each value that was entered and where the entered values came from and/or how they were computedbefore having me sign the finance/purchase agreement. She just didn't fill in the blanks and push the contract in my face to sign. I appreciated her time immensely as it allowed me to gain a better comfort level with the financing of the 2018 Honda Civic Hatchback that I purchased from Honda of Slidell. More
