Car ran out of gas during test drive. I went to test drive the HRV. As soon as I got in the car, the sales person John tells me that the system needed to be reset. We went to the service department where the guy says the car cannot be fixed until next weekend. I had other issues with the car so I tried the CRV. As soon as I got in the car the gas light came on. I told the sales guy and he insisted that there was enough gas. We go back and forth and I pulled over to show him because I couldn't see what he was seeing. I continued driving because he insisted there was gas. I got on the ramp of the highway when the car started to jerk. The car ran out of gas. The sales guy did not have a direct number to the dealership. He called from google. The operator put him on hold and the phone disconnected. He calls some other people. It took about 30 minutes to get help. When the service guy showed up he didn't bring enough gas. John takes over to drive and made an illegal turn on the ramp of the highway towards oncoming traffic to drive to the gas station. I get back to the dealership and not one manager comes out to apologize. I had to ask for the general manager who blames the other managers. More

Sales lady, Mame, & Sales Manager, Lionel, worked with me instead of the "against me" that is so typical of most car sales. There was no pressure. Of course I went in very prepared having done lots of research on both cars. In addition to the aforenamed, I was very impressed with the knowledge, experience & professionalism of the lady who checked us out, signing all the paper work. (Don't have her name right now.) The show room is bright & spacious, no cramped cubicles or offices. Coffee & snacks always available. Relaxing atmosphere. I actually enjoyed my sales experience at Honda of Slidell. It's an hour drive from my home, but worth it, especially if their service team is anything like their sales team. ~B. More

THEY ARE SCANMERS! Worst Experience Ever!!! PLEASE READ Okay so where do I start? First off, I only rated this place a 1 star bc it was the only way I could leave a review. Now, I bought a used 2016 Nissan Okay so where do I start? First off, I only rated this place a 1 star bc it was the only way I could leave a review. Now, I bought a used 2016 Nissan Maxima that had 48k miles for $22k. Not bad. Or at least that’s what I THOUGHT! So initially my salesperson was George but Denise also helped me through the process. The man that financed the car was named Arthur. Within the first two weeks, these were some of the problems that I had 1. Only one set of keys worked 2. My brakes squeaked whenever I slowed down 3. Two tires needed to be replaced 4. And my oil and filter notification/light came on So before I bought the car, they did not tell me that in LA cars were sold as is if over 40k miles. However, most of these issues, I’m sure they were aware needed to be fixed in the first place! Okay. So I call Arthur back and tell him. He literally tells me “dont tell the bank about these issues. I’ll handle them.” He THOUGHT! Of course I notified the bank because they will not process the loan until I’m fully satisfied with the car. Which I absolutely was NOT!!!! I came back, a 3 hour drive, for absolutely NOTHING to get fixed. I don’t know how they sleep at night. Literally. To be that low is disgusting. There’s no doubt in my mind that they purposely marketed this car so low bc of all the issues that have arisen and that have yet to arise. Don’t know if I’m going to keep the car (cause it is a really good price) bc I don’t want other issues to arise. THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS!!! THEY ARE NOT FOR THE PEOPLE, THEY’RE “BUY” THE PEOPLE. PLEASE BE AWARE?? More
