Excellent Dealership! I just bought a 2017 Ridgeline from Honda of Princeton, and it was a very pleasant experience, especially compared with the experience I had at anothe I just bought a 2017 Ridgeline from Honda of Princeton, and it was a very pleasant experience, especially compared with the experience I had at another area Honda dealership. I walked in off the street, without knowing anyone in the Princeton dealership, and I feel as if I was dealt with very fairly. The salesperson - Gary Kafitin - was forthright and candid with me, and straightforward regarding the cost of the vehicle and my trade. The finance guy, Chris Wells, was equally candid, forthright and pleasant. It was 'no nonsense', and I appreciated that fact, because the other dealership gave me the usual car salesman runaround and tried to tell me that the vehicle was selling for more than it actually did - all the typical stuff. I probably could've gotten the same deal if I played the nonsense game with the other dealership, but I felt much better doing the deal with Honda of Princeton. More

We’d spoken to other dealers in our quest for a new hatchback and the immediate difference was striking… we were relaxed rather than tense and on-guard. Friendly and easy-going… his no nonsense approach to selling cars was immensely refreshing. Upfront and honest… he answered every single one of our questions, no matter how obscure and was impressively knowledgeable about all the cars we discussed. He took whatever time was necessary for us to feel comfortable with our decisions. And honestly for us this takes A LOT of time. And with another dealer this probably would have been a tedious experience but with Jalil it felt more like chatting with a friend. We never felt rushed and we never really felt pressured. Yes, of course he wanted to make a sale but it was always framed in the way of what could he do for us to make us happy and confident with our purchase. And thanks to his dedication… that’s how we left feeling. We are happy with our Civic and we know he worked with us and for us to get us a good deal. We would highly recommend Jalil to anyone looking to buy or lease a Honda. More

Never did I feel pressured or rushed, in fact they bent over backwards to accommodate my work schedule that day and made sure I got the best deal. Not only did they secure a new customer yesterday, they put themselves at the top of any dealership I'd recommend to friends and family. More

Great Experience! I have had two very positive experiences at Honda of Princeton. The first was to buy my car. Dealing with Gary was a breeze. He was patient and knowledgeable about both the Civic, which was my original interest, and the Accord, which was the car I ultimately purchased. I felt I got a fair deal for my trade in and a great price for my car. Redmond, the gentleman who helped me with my financing explained all of the options I had available and we decided on the right options for me. My second experience was only a month later, when I had a problem with one of my tires. Although I had just 700 miles on the car I had a flat tire. When we inflated it to check for a leak or puncture we noticed the side of the tire bubbled. I immediately called Gary. He told me to come right in. When I did he took me to Dan, who then had my car inspected.. Upon inspection it was decided that there was a defect in the tire. They promptly replaced my tire at no cost to me. All within an hour and a half. I even got a gift certificate for a free car wash for my trouble! While I was waiting I noticed a young lady named Wendy who meticulously kept after the waiting area for service. She constantly rotated the goodies (bagels and then later some cookies and brownies) for freshness and tidied up the coffee area. She did that at least 4 times (or more) for the hour and a half that I waited. All in all I can say that my experiences here are unlike any other dealership I have visited. Thanks Honda of Princeton! Horrendous experience As a repeat customer who has given Honda a tremendous amount of business over the years, I would have expected a certain level of professionalism from As a repeat customer who has given Honda a tremendous amount of business over the years, I would have expected a certain level of professionalism from the dealership. I did not expect to wait 1 hour and 15 to be processed by financing to finalize signing for the vehicle. I also did not expect the lack of PR skills by the manager working that day, Joe. Not once did he come to apologize for the wait time. Instead, his exact words when we brought up the wait time were "this is what happens when you come on a Saturday, at least you only have to do this ever couple of years". Really? Even then we did not get the slightest bit of empathy for the wait. I would expect that kind of response from a government agency, but not from Honda. Hey Joe, I did not realize that buying a Honda is something I "had" to do. Joe did not show the slightest concern for his customers. I do not know if the lack of people in financial is also Joe's fault, but I do know that this behavior is his own doing. His behavior will most certainly be reflected in my Honda survey. Clearly, you do not need to possess any real skills to become a manager at this dealership. And as long as Joe is working here, I will be taking my business elsewhere. More
