The salesman I delt with was Paul Mecca. I've bought 5 Honda's from him. He is an honest trustworthy salesman. He always goes the extra mile for me and my family. We have leased six vehicles over the past few years from Honda of NR. Our sales person on all of these transactions was Mr. Paul Mecca. The vehicles leased range from the Oddessey to the Accord. From a financial standpoint we have always been able to achieve the best deal from HNR after comparing pricing at other local dealers. Paul Mecca is a knowledgeable, personable and friendly man, while at he same time he maintains a substantial knowledge of the vehicles and the financial offerings. He along with the management team have assisted in not only the new deals but also in any issues which arose upon lease returns. All of our transactions have been fair and pleasant. Mecca and the entire dealership are down to earth, fair and realistic. If one is considering a Honda in the Ny metro area, we highly recomend HNR. More

I had a fantastic experience at Honda of New Rochelle when leasing my new Honda Fit last year, and I continue to have exemplary service there. My sales rep was Vinny Brusco. Looking back on the experience, I'm amazed at how he hung in there with me and consistently followed up during the longer than normal transaction. Vinny was so engaging and personable, he not only got me the perfect deal I was looking for, he made it a fun process. I had a million questions and requests, and he came through on all of them. I had a friend at a different dealership that I could have gone to, but after working with Vinny and seeing how he worked so hard and tried to accommodate me, I felt compelled to stick with him. He made the process so easy and enjoyable and worked through every detail, even when I was unsure if I was going to move ahead with lease. Long story short, I made the best choice walking into Honda of New Rochelle that day and every time I return for follow up maintenance or questions, Vinny is there for me and the rest of the staff couldn't be more helpful and accommodating. I tell everyone who is looking for a car to go there. I never would have thought I would get such personal service at a car dealership. The service department is also wonderful. 5 stars all around! I'm a straight shooting, no nonsense customer. I know what I want and what I'm willing to pay. I respect the guys at Honda of New Rochelle for working with me and providing the right experience. I went in last Friday, spent a little time with the team, and took delivery today. Additionally, I've serviced my car here in the past and they are also top notch. More
I went to this dealer last week to purchase a used vehicle. Anthony, the salesperson was absolutely wonderful. He showed me a few vehicles that fit my interests, and we test drove them. I left a small deposit of $500. I was told that this was required so that they could 'hold' the vehicle for me while my loan application was being processed. My plan was to make a $5000 down payment, and trade in my toyota camry. My loan on that vehicle had a significant balance left over, so I was prepared for the possibility of them asking for more money down. What i was not prepared for was the way that I would be treated the next time i went back to this dealer. I got a call the 2 days later stating that they had gotten me approved. All i had to do was bring the rest of my down payment and sign the papers and I could take my car home. When I asked about the terms of the loan, I was told to speak to Ike, the 'finance guy'. I spoke to Ike, and he brushed me off and told me to just come in and we would talk then. I went back to the dealer on Thursday 2/17/2011 and met with Ike. He showed me the paperwork and then told me that if I took the car home that day, my monthly payment would be around $620/month. my max amount that i was willing to pay per month was $450. I knew that I would need to put more money down, and I was prepared to do so. Before I could even offer this remedy, Ike tells me that the vehicle that I selected wasn't able to pass inspection, and that I could get another car, but it had to come from THEIR dealership because he called in a 'favor' and got me approved. I was also told that I would not get approved anywhere else. I have never heard such b.s. in my life. He then tried to get me to take other vehicles that had twice the mileage and less features than the vehicle that i had originally chosen. And i know that there was nothing wrong with the vehicle because I had three friends inquire about the same vehicle over the next few days, and they were told that if they came in, they could test drive it!! If he would have just been up front with me and told me the situation, I would have given him the extra money required in order for me to get the vehicle that I wanted. I called another dealership and told them that I had already been approved. I went to their dealership at 9 am the following morning, and drove away in a new vehicle around 3pm the same day. Not only were they able to contact the bank and use the same 'special approval' that Ike had 'begged' for, but they were also able to get me a FAR more reasonable interest rate. I am now driving the car that I wanted.....no thanks to Honda of New Rochelle. Ike called me that same evening to offer me another vehicle that I had absolutely no interest in. When I told him that I purchased from another dealership, he went on to trash talk the other dealership and told me that they must have scammed me because he offered me the best deal possible (real proffessional, by the way Ike). I asked him when I could stop by to get my $500 deposit back. He told me that he would put it back on my card immediately. The money is still not there. Looks like I'll be taking a ride over there this afternoon. More
