After dealing with multiple Honda dealerships across Florida, I was beyond frustrated. Every single one refused to negotiate their bogus “add-on” fees, and as someone with 8 years of finance experience, Florida, I was beyond frustrated. Every single one refused to negotiate their bogus “add-on” fees, and as someone with 8 years of finance experience, I found their approach not only insulting but disheartening. It felt like they were trying to take advantage of me, and I knew better. Out of sheer frustration, I reached out to a friend who used to work for a Honda dealership in New York for over 30 years. She reviewed the offers I received and even tried to negotiate with the salesmen. They treated her as disrespectfully as they did me. Thankfully, she still had some connections in the business. Less than 12 hours later, I received a call from Jadira at Honda of New Rochelle, and that’s when everything changed. Jadira reviewed the ridiculous offers I had from the Florida dealers and immediately escalated my situation to her General Manager, Mr. Lee. I don’t know Mr. Lee personally, but he didn’t hesitate to get involved. Within hours, he connected me with George in Sales and Finance, who treated my case with honesty, care, and respect. George was phenomenal, his financial breakdown was clear, transparent, and fair. He worked my deal as if I were family, cutting through all the nonsense I had dealt with elsewhere. I never once felt pressured or dismissed. In fact, I’ve never met Jadira, Mr. Lee, or George in person, yet they each went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. This is how car buying should be, honest, efficient, and human. I’ll proudly refer my Florida friends and family to Honda of New Rochelle from now on. The professionalism and integrity of this team are rare, and quite frankly, it should be the standard across every Honda dealership. ⚠️ WARNING: In My View — This felt to me like a “BAIT and SWITCH” situation. REVIEW: On 09/26 at 9:06 AM, I called Honda New Rochelle and spoke with Patricia about a specific model I was interested in. She told me there were five in stock. Since I wanted to avoid certain colors, I asked for details about the interior and exterior colors for each vehicle, one by one. To make absolutely sure I wouldn’t waste my time, I asked again if they were available and even said, “I don’t want to arrive at the dealership and find out that the cars are not available.” She confirmed again. Relying on that information, I drove 30 minutes to the dealership intending to buy that specific vehicle. In my opinion, that was the “BAIT” part of the story. When I arrived at 9:46 AM, I was told by Jayleen that the car was not available and not in inventory. She explained that Patricia “doesn’t even have access to inventory” and that her role is simply “to get people into the dealership.”🤯 After hearing that, I was asked if I wanted to consider a different car instead! 🧐 In my opinion, that was the “SWITCH.” At that point, I declined and left, having already wasted a lot of time. 😡 BUYER BEWARE — this was my personal experience. 😡 In my view, the way this unfolded left me feeling MISLED as a customer. PS: After I wrote this review, later that same day (09/26 at 5:48 PM), I was suddenly told the car “just became available.” See attached screenshot!! I hope this helps other Google users make an informed decision. More
Overall, this was a disappointing experience and a huge waste of time. I agreed to a deal based on numbers that due to a careless mistake ended up increasing the total by $5K and adding hundreds to the mon waste of time.
