a car was in Que & not seen 2 1/2 hrs despite appt. Arrived at appointment time 10:30 but car NOT SEEN & still in Que at 1:15pm. Rep was excellent but Wait for recall & routine service was WAY TOO LONG Arrived at appointment time 10:30 but car NOT SEEN & still in Que at 1:15pm. Mark did everything to speed it sling ( was terrific) but service was Not what it usually is at this Honda dealership. More

Service Center experience I brought my car in for routine maintenance like an oil change, and I knew I needed new tires. After they looked at my car I received a call from the I brought my car in for routine maintenance like an oil change, and I knew I needed new tires. After they looked at my car I received a call from the service rep and was told my car needed a total of almost $2500 worth of work. The car is only 7 yrs old, although it does have over 100,000 miles on it. And I have kept up with the maintenance since I bought it. For financial reasons I chose to fix only those items that were most pressing, and the service rep did his best to apply coupons and bring the cost down as much as he could. After I picked my car up I noticed a problem as soon as I got on the road. I called the service rep immediately and was able to bring my car right back. They drove the car alone and then with me in it, and I was told there was nothing wrong. But I insisted there was, and they took it back into the shop to recheck it with whatever equipment they use. Turns out I was right, and they did fix it immediately. But what if I hadn't insisted? I drive my car every day and I know how it feels. If I say something is wrong, I shouldn't have to be a mechanic to be taken seriously. I have no complaints about the service rep, who did his very best to help me. I've been a loyal Honda owner and have only purchased brand new Hondas (this is my 4th) for over 25 yrs. But this particular car, which I bought new in 2011, is the worst I've had. There have been issues on and off since the day I picked it up, but not enough to qualify it as a lemon. It's definitely made me rethink if I will buy Honda again, and this recent experience with the service dept has shaken my faith in them as well. More
