Disappointing experience from start to finish We had called this dealer to inquire about a vehicle and were encouraged to make an appointment to see it since it was about 1.5 hours away by car. Wh We had called this dealer to inquire about a vehicle and were encouraged to make an appointment to see it since it was about 1.5 hours away by car. When we arrived, we found the dealer had sold it THE SAME DAY our appointment was made 3 days before and no one bothered to let us know. Instead both of us took time off work, made the trip, were immediately informed on arrival that the car we drove there to see had been sold and ushered into a profoundly disappointing discussion around a new, more expensive vehicle that we had made clear did not fit some major criteria we were after. These folks had 3+ days to let us know and didn't feel our time was valuable enough to extend that courtesy nor was any real effort made during the sales process to acknowledge this oversight or earn our trust/business. We made the drive back home, stopping in at local Honda dealer on the way, and experienced one of the easiest, most professional and FUN car buying experiences we've ever had. You should take a lesson from Bommarito Honda--they know how to do it right. More
Rock Bottom Customer Service I took in my Honda CRV for an oil change and a tire rotation and was asked "Will you be hanging out with us today?" I said, "sure" thinking, it might I took in my Honda CRV for an oil change and a tire rotation and was asked "Will you be hanging out with us today?" I said, "sure" thinking, it might take 20 minutes. I was offered a shuttle service that would take me anywhere I wanted to go, but declined. When the oil change is complete, 15 minutes later, I was shown the quality of the transmission fluid, brake fluid...etc. and was recommended a flush for over one hundred dollars. I said, "no thanks, just the oil change." 15 more minutes go by. The serviceman returns and says that a "wheel stud" was broken during the tire rotation. He said that it was their fault and that I would have to fix it, but that it would be 15 more minutes. 25 minutes go by. I am closely watching my car as it is elevated in the shop. No one goes near it. Now 15 more minutes go by. I have waited for one hour and go to ask about the car. The serviceman says "Oh, I haven't forgotten you. They are taking it down now. I just needed to make sure the wheel stud was taken care of." So, after waiting one hour and twenty minutes and seeing no one go near the car for the last half-hour, even though the car was in full view, I am ready to go. I said, "I am on the service plan, but I don't have my book with me." "Well, the serviceman says, "I can look it up but it would be ten more minutes..." I said no. When everything was said and done, I paid over sixty dollars for an oil change and tire rotation just to get out of there. Locally, the same service would have been performed at half the price in half the time. And to top it all off, "wheel stud" is listed under recommend repairs in my paper work, so I assume they fixed the problem and just listed in in the wrong category. More
