I took my 2019 Honda Ridgeline in for the tailgate backup camera wiring recall. They damaged my Honda key locking assembly. The service manager graciously offered to replace the locking latch for $200. I ordered a Honda locking assembly for $64 on line and installed myself. Then a little over a week later I got a call from the service manager stating that I needed to bring my Honda in for a horn issue. I checked on line for a horn recall, none. My horn has always worked fine. I have been getting notifications from Honda about the tailgate recall, still open. I called and talked to the dealership a number of times. Now 08/04/23, recall is still open. I will take it back to the original dealership, 30+ miles away to perform the recall. I will never go to the Honda of Concord NC dealership again, but drive 29 additional miles to a competent dealership. More
