Very disappointing experience with Carson Henry I visited the hendrick concord dealership at concord, NC on April 27th 2017 evening around 8pm. I was greeted by "Stephen Murray". I was looking to le I visited the hendrick concord dealership at concord, NC on April 27th 2017 evening around 8pm. I was greeted by "Stephen Murray". I was looking to lease a 2017 Honda civic or a Jetta. Stephen was wonderful, friendly and polite during the duration of viewing the car, test drive etc. After test drive, we came back to his desk and i wanted to dicuss the numbers on the honda civic lease option. Thats when Stephen introduced "Carson Henry" and my customer experience started to take a dip. Carson tried to be humourous at the beginning and later he was trying to make me admit that Civic is a better vehcile compared to Jetta given the exact same price point. I did not like that conversation since civic and Jetta cannot be at the same price since Jetta is cheaper than civic by few thousands. Carson dragged me in that conversation for a good 5 mins and he wanted to make me admit that civic is better car. It can be a better car, but the discussion we had was pointless and he wasted my valuable time. The next issue came when i told him that i also wanted to get a quote from another honda dealer before i decide. I was actually ready to do the business on the same if Carson provided me a good price quote. But he was very rude and told me that since i wanted to check the price with other dealer he said he will not disclose Hendrick honda's price. I felt that was not a right attitude. A dealer can always provide their best out the door price at least orally and i was not expecting it in written. Therefore, i had to walk out of the dealership. He did even want to discuss further inside the showroom and he escorted me out of the dealership. I personally feel, that a bad 'bossy' attitude for a salesman. I will convey my bad experience at Hendrick honda due to "Carson Henry" as much as possible in social media. More
