The reason I chose this dealership was the past buying experience we had with our salesperson Stacey Hicks. After contact I e-mailed all our requirements and also stressed the point of not wanting to spend the whole day haggling out a deal he came through in all areas. When looking to trade in vehicle Stacey was the first person I thought of told him what I was looking for from fuel economy to monthly payments to year, make, and mileage. I went to this dealership because I had experience with them previously and for the most part the experience was very good. I knew what I wanted and what I was willing to pay, and the sales person was ver them previously and for the most part the experience was very good. I knew what I wanted and what I was willing to pay, and the sales person was very professional and knowledgeable. He didn't try to play games, and I was able to go from start to finish on the deal within a few hours. I plan on also taking my car back to the dealership for service, as their service department is as good or better than their sales team. If you want a straight forward experience with no games, and a good service department to support you after the sale, then I would recommend Honda of Concord. More

We were in the market to buy a newer vehicle, but still keep the CRV because it is still running great. We had already done our research on the car we wanted to get (2012 Honda Fit Sport), so we were well informed before stepping foot on the lot. We had requested an online price quote, and Gerard Apadula was the one to give us a call (We were actually on the way to the dealership at the time - a Sunday). We arrived and were met by many friendly folks, but we asked for Gerard. He knew about the car we were looking at, and went with us on a test drive. We weren't sure if we wanted to purchase that day, but the car we test drove was very appealing, and there wasn't another on the lot with all the same features. We were there for 5 hours and met with Rich York during negotiations, but we were never hassled to buy. We went ahead and used Honda's financing, because we got an even better rate than our credit union. Amanda Aledia in finance was extremely nice and got us through all the paperwork. Overall we are very pleased with our experience, and don't feel ripped off in the slightest! We will continue to do our business with Honda of Concord. More

The Honda of Concord website was easy to navigate and I was able to find a used truck at a great price. Yolanda contacted me immediately with no sales pressure. Even at the dealership Yolanda didn't pressure us into the deal. She gave us the options and worked with us. The only negative was the trade-in value that the website gives you is from the Black Book that gave me a good trade-in value on my 05 Honda Pilot. But at the dealership, they used Kelley Blue Book for the trade-in appraisal which was a lot lower than the Black Book value on the website. The pilot was rated at the Kelley Blue Book fair trade-in value at the dealership but in my opinion it was between good to great condition. Through my car buying experiences, NADA was the industry standard for banks and dealerships. NADA was slightly lower than Black Book value. I felt like it was the Bait and Switch to get you in there. Rick Hendrick should remove the Black Book Trade-In value from the website if they aren't going to honor it. We were able to reach a trade-in value that was acceptable and complete the deal. The price of the truck was below retail price at a good deal. This was my third vehicle purchased at Honda of Concord, NC. I will probably purchase my next car from Honda of Concord in the future. The sales woman Yolanda (internet sales manager) was very knowledgeable and friendly. More

This was my second new auto bought from Honda of Concord. My original purchase (in 2008) was a four-cylinder Accord sedan. This year (Tuesday, July 31) I purchased a six-cylinder Accord. Service and attention to detail by Mr. Dentis Shaw as well as the finance manager and sales manager was outstanding in all aspects of the presentation and transaction. I was at the dealer at about 4:00 PM for maintenance on my '08 Accord on an extremely busy business day and evening. I had no intention to purchase a new car that evening. However, I agreed to listen to what the dealer termed as a purchase I wouldn't regret even if I just listened. To cut to the chase, I left the dealership (at approximately 8:30 PM) with my new Accord, feeling that I had been offered a very good deal by Honda of Concord. Dentis Shaw is a seasoned professional with his sales pitch. His approach is more like he's making new friends rather than selling cars. I'm 71 years old and have bought 28 new cars over the course of the past 53 years. This was the first time I have ever left a dealership with a new car and felt that I had actually (not just apparently, but actually) been offered a good deal on my purchase.
