We initially opted to buy the service contract with our new car based on what we were told of the terms and conditions. Within a few days we decided to cancel the contract after reading the terms more closely and seeing that they lied to us over the coverage and cost (my fault for thinking there were honest people working at a car dealership). The contract allowed for a full refund if cancelled within 30 days. We sent the cancellation form less than a week after buying the vehicle and it took 4 more weeks to get the check in the mail. When I asked why it is taking so long before it showed up, the excuse I got for the delay was because they wanted to send the license plates and the check at the same time. They didn’t even come in the same envelope so why would you need to send them at the same time? That’s kind of fishy, but ok. When the check showed up I did the math and it was exactly $1000 short. I called and pointed this out and the excuse I got was that their “finance department thought I still owed them money". The receipt attached to the check did not even mention this. It just said "refund for service contract" with the incorrect total. They sent the additional $1000 check out that day, which definitely wouldn't happen if they thought I owed them money. I find it highly unlikely that they thought I owed them money for over a month and have never called, texted, emailed, or sent a letter to tell me I still owe them money. Then when they are supposed to send me a refund for something else, they decided to subtract it from the refund check and not tell me or document the subtraction on the receipt. I think it’s more likely that they were hoping I wouldn’t notice the difference and they would be allowed to pocket my money like xxxxxxxx. BUYER BEWARE. THEY ARE NICE TO YOUR FACE BUT THEY ARE TRYING TO STEAL FROM YOU. More
My wife and I recently purchased a 2012 Accord from Honda of Burlington. The car was cherry to the max - spotlessly clean and with only 80,500 miles on the odometer. Indeed, when I showed the car to some nei of Burlington. The car was cherry to the max - spotlessly clean and with only 80,500 miles on the odometer. Indeed, when I showed the car to some neighbor guys, all were impressed by it's appearance - inside and out. And, when I popped the hood, all said it revealed what looked like a factory fresh engine. AND, our sales rep, Cesar Vargas, was (and is) a gem. He was friendly but not pushy, providing us with honest answers to our questions. Indeed, when the deal was done, I did not feel we needed to take a shower (i.e. to get the slime off from a sleazy sales experience.). I recommend anyone who needs a Honda should contact Cesar. The only ding to our experience Burlington Honda was the sleazy sales push we got from a finance guy who put the full court press on us to get an extended service warrantee starting at $3,000 which he immediately dropped to $2500 with no push back from me. Needless to say, I did not fall for that standard sales goon tactic . . . . Regardless of this minor ding, I recommend anyone to give Cesar at Honda of Burlington a ring to discuss your car needs - new or old. More
Absolutely worst customer experience ever at Burlington Honda with Camille Kim and Bobby Maynard. They sold us a brand new car that died in the first month then told us to pay them 6K for the privilege of Honda with Camille Kim and Bobby Maynard. Contacted sales person via web site regarding 2023 Ridgeline requesting information and possible test drive (also, i had asked to communicate via email only at this time). Sales person (Debbie) contac Ridgeline requesting information and possible test drive (also, i had asked to communicate via email only at this time). Sales person (Debbie) contacted me and a test drive wqas scheduled. After the test drive when discussing pricing, Debbie informated me that Hondaof Burlington was asking $1000 over MSRP. Later, I contacted another Honda dealer and they were much more flexable on pricing and terms. The Debbie started calling me (don't know how she got my phone number) at which time I informed her that I would be working with another Honda dealership which was being more felxible with the pricing and asked her not to contact me any more. For several days following she comtinued to call and text me until I finally had to send the sales manager a note asking him to have her stop conatcing me. More

Honda of Burlington (Washington): Traded our Honda Pilot which was too big for our needs into a new hybrid CR-V SUV for double the fuel mileage. Compared to our experiences with other local dealers in the p which was too big for our needs into a new hybrid CR-V SUV for double the fuel mileage. Compared to our experiences with other local dealers in the past, the two sales people––Al and Dax––worked smoothly together. Throughout the process from the sales negotiation, finance, to follow-up with the sales manager, we were treated like real people rather than carnival marks. Dax made the negotiation and wait professional and smooth. He's a top drawer, low-pressure salesman––the best! The deal we made was fair, the loan we got from Honda was excellent, and we're loving the learning curve into the land of 38 mpg 'hybridity' (without losing the great AWD utility!) We already recommended using this dealer (and Dax) to our grown kids should they want a new Honda. More

TLDR: Very inconsistent with pricing and changing price on a whim. Lack of transparency with the price. Misled on car condition. Brian was good with showing the car and the test drive. Everything else w on a whim. Lack of transparency with the price. Misled on car condition. Brian was good with showing the car and the test drive. Everything else was terrible. Brian's boss kept completely ignoring what I'm saying and acted like she's doing me a favor by offering to sell the car to me at a high price they listed online. This car went from $18k to $20k to $19.4k to $18.3k in a matter of 3 days. Complete chaos. I wanted to buy the car for $18k but they didn't go below $19.4k. I have no idea where they got that number from. Bellingham dealership had this car for $18k a few days ago and couldn't find a buyer in 3 months. I am the one doing them a favor by offering to buy it at $18k. Also on phone they said the car is in mint condition but in person I saw it has very noticeable scratches and scruffs. I drove 1.5 hours from Seattle to test drive this car and with all the imperfections and 2 years of depreciation they still thought that $19.4k is a fantastic price for it. They even had an offer on their website that I'll get $25 Amazon gift card for doing a test drive but they didn't even give me that. False advertising from this offer to the price of the car. Also they're just reusing the pictures of the car that Bellingham dealership took and they confidently told me that they don't use another dealership's pictures. (Screenshots attached showing 4 different prices for the same car) Edit: Absolutely nothing in this review is fabricated. I never agreed to any price before coming in. And I came in to test drive the vehicle which would then influence my decision to buy it. The fact that you kept asking for a deposit even before the test drive is offensive. I've attached the email I sent to you to test drive the car for the public to see where I don't agree to any price or any promise to buy the car. I never had the chance to buy the car from Bellingham because as soon as I saw it for the first time online it was already sold in wholesale. That's why I contacted you before you could even get it out on the lot. I understand you have nothing to do with Bellingham but you still use their pictures on your website and posted 3 different prices for this car ranging from $18,287 to $19,998. It was posted as a certified pre owned car but Brian on phone and in person told me that it's an error. You can't post one thing on your website and then change it in person. I mean you legally can change it but is it the fair thing to do? Absolutely not. Telling me in person that you don't negotiate on the online price is the most ridiculous thing when you keep changing the online price. You're a dealership, you're supposed to make a deal by negotiating or be a true online sales company where your prices are uniform for everyone like Tesla does. I can buy a Tesla anywhere from New York to Hawaii at the exact same price but this car you're selling (not even the same model type but the exact same VIN) has had multiple online prices at the same location on the same day. So don't tell me that you're firm on your price or that you don't negotiate. More
