I called two weeks prior to my date of service to request an appt for an “oil change/filter”. I was told that I did not need an appt as an oil change was an express that was a walk in service that would take less than an hour and they opened at 7:30am. I was fifth in line at 7:35am. Steve checked me in and told me that it would be “an hour to an hour and a half”. I decided to stay. At at 9:30am, I asked for a status report. I was told that the tech had my car as we spoke. At 10:30am, Steve handed my paperwork to the cashier. I paid and went to my car. I noticed that my lug nut bag that I keep my wheel lock key in was sitting on my console. I opened my glove compartment where I keep the bag and noticed that my folder that I keep my registration, insurance card, etc in was missing. I searched the entire car and could not find it. I went to Steve and told him. He helped me search the car again and advised me that they always do a complimentary service check of the car ( tires, fluids, etc) when they do an oil change. He added that the tech checks the cabin filter during this service. I asked Steve to drop the glove box as the folder may have slid behind it when the tech put everything back in. The folder was not there. Steve went back to the tech and they could not find the folder. I told Steve that I was calling the police to make a report as my main concern was now identity theft. While making my report to the officer while standing out front, Steve called me and told me that they had found the folder and it was found “on” the managers desk. I said to the officer, for my folder to end up on the managers desk meant that it had to be removed from my car in the first place…which never should have happened. I continued that my suspicion/perception was that the folder was intentionally removed for criminal intentions and then returned to the “ managers desk” when the person(s) saw me with the officer out front. Of course I could be wrong but someone would have to convince me of an alternative reason. Like I said, after seven Hondas for my family from Sussman(along with excellent and trusted service by Ken…and Joe in collision) I find the “Honda of Abington “ has changed for the worst. I’ll have to process this incident for a long time before I could justify my reason to return to my trusted dealership.

I received better care when Sussman owned the dealership, too many new employees and they don't give the same discounts as sussman did More
