My experience was not amazing. I only found out when I saw a piece of paper on his desk that showed the markup. Then he sneakily made me sign it and played it off like it was no big deal. When I tried to talk to my sales guy about the low trade and concern about it he wouldn’t even look me in the eye and went and got the used sales guy to do his dirty work. I was told by my sales guy that my 2k deposit was refundable only to find out it was not after I was going to walk away. I came to an agreement with the used sales manager and said I’m not putting any morning money on the car outside of the 2k deposit + the 5k in equity. I got back to the finance guy (who was hands down the best guy I dealt with. Very nice. Very empathetic and understanding. Give that dude a raise!) who told me I had to pay like 800 bucks including my first month payment. I was so exhausted for being there for over 6 hours I just handed over my card. Dude waived a few fees for me and got it down to just over 600. Overall, the communication was terrible. At one point my sales guy said “the price of the car doesn’t matter, the payment is all that matters.” My head almost exploded. I told the finance guy that story and he just shook his head. 1 star for the sales guy :( More
First time with the service department after the new ownership took affect. I was very disappointed that when trying to make an appointment, despite four different phone calls to the service department, ownership took affect. I was very disappointed that when trying to make an appointment, despite four different phone calls to the service department, there was never anyone who answered the phone. With my appointment for a simple inspection, the service advisor advise me of over $600 worth of upsell services to consider. The three that really upset me were recommending that I needed new engine and cabin air filters. It’s too bad the technician didn’t look at the filters first, he would’ve noticed that they had been recently replaced and didn’t need replacement. The other was that they recommended a oil change, despite 40% left on the service life. Way too soon in my opinion. The final item was that I was overcharged $20 for the emission inspection. Overall, while I’ve been exclusively having my car serviced at Sussman Honda for nearly 15 years, this is a very disappointing start under the new ownership. More
After their offered through true car they still argued on the price. Ignorant salesman did not know anything about the car (0). (Features) Wasted 8 hours over 2 days. Derrick Farrell is a fantastic sales associate and a very kind person. He was very patient with our technological ignorance, (we are two senior citizens), and explained the car’s features very thoroughly and kind person. He was very patient with our technological ignorance, (we are two senior citizens), and explained the car’s features very thoroughly and clearly, yet simply. He took a long time with us, making sure we understood the sales process. He is not high pressure at all, rather he is factual, giving us the information we needed to make our decision. If Derrick was not our salesperson, we would not have been able to buy a car at all, (which we badly needed), much less understand what type of car we were getting. I wish Derrick the best and hope he is successful in his life. He is a genuinely good person. More
