Great experience at Honda Windward! Had a great experience leasing my Civic from Honda Windward with Bob Laudick. Bob did a great job of making the whole process easy and stress free. Had a great experience leasing my Civic from Honda Windward with Bob Laudick. Bob did a great job of making the whole process easy and stress free. He was more than willing to sit down with us and answer any questions on two separate occasions and was very knowledgeable about the whole process. You can tell he has a vast amount of experience in the trade. When it came to finding the perfect vehicle he was more than willing to help work with our budget and get us into the right car at the right price. Most importantly, he wasn’t overly pushy and was always flexible when it came to finding a time to meet. I would most definitely recommend working with Bob and, in general, heading to Windward Honda if you’re in the market for a car! More

I saw a specific vehicle that I was interested in and submitted an email requested additional information. I received a call back within minutes of pressing send (literally minutes). Bob Laudick assured me that I was more then welcomed to come in and test drive the vehicle. I told Bob that I was not fully committed to purchasing a vehicle at this time and had tight budget constraints. Bob assured me that there would be no pressure to buy and that I could ask for him and he would gladly take me out on the test drive personally. When I arrived, I was greeted warmly by sales personnel who then referred me to Bob. During the test drive, I was amazed at his knowledge of the vehicles interior functions as well as it's technical specs. Bob worked tirelessly with me to get the vehicle for a fair price that also fit my budget. At no time did I feel rushed or pressured to purchase a vehicle outside of my specific needs. It was by far the most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had. I will absolutely refer my friends and family to Honda Windward to purchase a vehicle. I will not hesitate to purchase my next vehicle here as well. Thank you Bob Laudick! You are truly an asset to your company with your friendly personality, your sincerity, and your willingness to actually listen to what my vehicle needs were as well as packaging it within my budget! You Made A Believer Out Of Me! Sincerely, David Kaawa More
I went to Bob Laudick at Windward Honda looking to trade-in my vehicle for something more dependable and safer to drive. I have a 2yr-old with another on the way, so safety and dependability are at the forefront of my car buying needs. Bob took me in and within a couple hours I was driving off in a brand new car, with monthly payments BELOW what I told him I was looking to spend!!!... and the trade-in I received for my used car was ABOVE KBB... unbelievable! Bob made the entire process quick and easy... he went over all my options and worked with me in getting the best car for the best price for my expanding Ohana. Mahalo Bob!... there are still good guys out there. More
Worked with Bob Laudick. He was personable, knowledgeable, and patient. He knew pretty much everything there was to know about the cars, which made me feel good about working with him. He als knowledgeable, and patient. He knew pretty much everything there was to know about the cars, which made me feel good about working with him. He also explained all safety features, technological additions like the blue tooth and rear and side cameras. He knew everything. Which is probably why I ended up buying a car from him. Nice guy too. He seems to treat his customers like friends. He even followed up my purchase with a pair of phone calls in the following days to make sure I was happy with my purchase and that everything was going okay. I went in not really knowing what kind of car I wanted, and not really knowing what car company I wanted to work with. But after talking to Bob I decided on making a purchase with Honda Windward. Great service. More
Bob was helpful, efficient, pleasant and straight forward. I appreciated his listening carefully to answers to his questions, and my statements, about what was important to me in a new car. He was a forward. I appreciated his listening carefully to answers to his questions, and my statements, about what was important to me in a new car. He was able to suggest an option I had not previously considered, but that was more than appropriate. A lovely afternoon, especially as the efficiency of Bob, Aaron and Curtiss, and Windward Honda had me driving home in a brand new CRV! Whopee! I thought it would take several trips. More
We purchased two Hondas from Michael Stoebner, General Manager, in 2005, so I called him again this year since my daughter was looking for a car. I called ahead of time to let him know the date and time Manager, in 2005, so I called him again this year since my daughter was looking for a car. I called ahead of time to let him know the date and time I was coming in, and he told me to come in and see Craig Hersch since he wasn't going to be there (Saturday afternoon). When we got to the dealership, Craig was not working and he was not expected in for another hour. Instead of the other manager Mel Ramos helping us, Mel told us it was company policy that we work with a sales person first. I was not happy with that, so I asked for Bob Laudick since a lot of reviews had nothing but good things to say about Bob. Well Bob helped us. He was very polite and knowledgeable, showed us the car my daughter wanted, and then went to "the room" to negotiate the deal. There was some room for negotiation; he gave us all the excuses of their prices. We settled on a price which was ok, but I know we could have done much better. Bob wanted my daughter to give him good reviews for the price we settled for, but in hindsight, we know that is probably what he tells all of his customers. It is the follow up with Bob that needs improvement. First, my daughter purchased the door guards and splash guards AT A MARK UP price because Bob said he has to cover labor (yeah right. How much time does it take anyway?). We did not pick up the car until the following Monday. When we picked up the car in the evening, my daughter realized that the splash guards were not installed!! Hmmm . . . Bob, weren't you supposed to make sure they were? I wonder if the rust proofing was also done now? So my daughter had to take the car back on another day, and it had to be on a Monday-Friday by 3 p.m.! Who gets off work by then, especially from downtown? She had to take leave from work to get it done. You would think Honda WIndward (and Bob) would have compensated her for her time but NEGATIVE! Not even a courtesy tank of gas. Second, since we are customers with the University of Hawaii FCU, we gave Bob a form to fax so that my daughter could get a VISA card and my son could get a gas card. That would NOT be at any cost to Honda Windward. All they had to do was fax the forms in. After waiting over a month, my daughter called the company that handled the distribution of these cards to inquire the status. Well, Honda Windward did NOT fax it in; the company never received it! Luckily my daughter kept a copy of the forms, so she re-faxed it. No thanks to the dealership. By the way, you don't have to buy a car from them to get the gas card; all one has to do is go in to the dealership and ask them to fax the form. I wonder how many are not done. Last, Bob told my daughter that he would call her when the license plates come in. She did not get a call; instead she got a postcard in the mail, six weeks later. Bob is very knowledgeable and he knows how to work the customers. Once the sale is over and he's through talking about himself and how he pays for some of his customers' service and how much sales he does, another side of him appears. I have written to him about these quirks, and you would think I would get a response explaining or apologizing. NEGATIVE. So I ask you, is that Customer Service? By the way, speaking of Customer Service. When my daughter had to take her car back to get the splash guards installed, the Service Department looked at her as if they were thinking, "It's 2:45 p.m. and we're about to close. What do you want?" More
I’ve written many reviews – for books, films, restaurants and activities. But I couldn’t wait to write this review about Bob Laudick at Honda Windward. Why Bob Laudick? Because Bob made it possible for my hu and activities. But I couldn’t wait to write this review about Bob Laudick at Honda Windward. Why Bob Laudick? Because Bob made it possible for my husband and me to drive around in a cute little Honda FIT that is perfect for us. Why Bob? Because he is the antithesis of a car salesman! You know the stereotype – lots of gold chains, loud shirt, obnoxious, pushy – and you sure don’t trust anything he is telling you. Well, Bob Laudick is definitely not the “car salesman” type. He is an educator. He wants to help you learn about the different cars on the market and the one that would be the best choice. He wants to be sure you make an educated decision. He wants to get to know you so he can give you his best advice – even if you end up not buying. Bob is so helpful and so honest that if you don’t buy your car from him this time, you will be back. I guarantee it. I have been involved in buying or leasing a new or used car a dozen times in my life and never, never have I felt comfortable about the decision made or the process of buying the car. It was always scary. I didn’t trust anything that was being said to me. That is, until I met Bob Laudick and he helped my husband and me to purchase our FIT. And that’s not the whole story. Bob still stays in contact. If I have a question about the car, the service, etc., he is always ready to help. When was the last time you bought a car and two years later, the car salesman would still recognize you, no less call you to see if all is well with your car. (The guys in the service dept. at Honda Windward seem to have the same philosophy. They always treat us courteously and promptly – even if it’s just to put air in the tires. ) Without hesitation, I’d recommend Bob Laudick at Honda Windward to anyone wanting to buy a new or pre-owned car or even if you are just looking. You will get a wonderful education and a great car too. More
Buying a car definitely conjures up a negative image for most. Knowing that, Bob Laudick and the staff at Honda Windward do everything they can to educate customers and work for their best interest. Bob i most. Knowing that, Bob Laudick and the staff at Honda Windward do everything they can to educate customers and work for their best interest. Bob is an educator: he will help you come to the best choice for your unique situation. Whether it's size, function, family, business, he will go over all the details to find the best fit for you, even down to which colors of paint stand up to time better depending on your use and taste. As a business owner I have a long list of other businesses and vendors I work with. I personally know 7-8 local business owners who have used Bob Laudick for their auto purchases and have been extremely happy with service at the sale and continuing over the years. Bob doesn't disappear after the sale, he checks up with his clients to make sure their purchase is still treating them well. If you want to get straight, honest car talk, not to mention high quality line of vehicles, make sure to make Honda Windward your first stop. More
