My husband and I were very pleased with our experience working with Gilbert Gallarzo at Honda City. We were pretty sure we wanted to buy a Honda CR-V, but weren't sure if we wanted new or used. We also working with Gilbert Gallarzo at Honda City. We were pretty sure we wanted to buy a Honda CR-V, but weren't sure if we wanted new or used. We also weren't sure if we wanted the LX, EX, or EX-L. Gilbert Gallarzo was very patient and let us take all the time we wanted. He was very good at answering all of our questions. We are very happy with our Honda CR-V 2013 EX-L purchase. I would definitely recommend Mr. Gallarzo and Honda City to friends and family. I would definitely buy from Mr. Gallarzo and Honda city in the future. More

I purchased a vehicle on Saturday, Feb. 23. My principal salesman was Samuel Dey, who was very attentive, very helpful in answering questions I had about the vehicle, and never made me feel like I was being salesman was Samuel Dey, who was very attentive, very helpful in answering questions I had about the vehicle, and never made me feel like I was being rushed into making a decision. When I returned home, I noticed an error in the information on the paperwork and I had to return to the dealership on Monday to have the original documents voided and corrected documents prepared. I do have to say, however, that when I returned to the delearship on Monday, Feb. 25, to correct the papers, the person I dealt with ("Patrick" in Finance) was very helpful, addressed all of my concerns, and fixed everything quickly. Mistakes happen; I understand that. Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend this dealer to other potential Honda car buyers. More
The reason why I gave Honda City Chicago, the rating was because when I first enter the dealer ship Mr. Day gave us a nice and warm hello and welcome to Honda City. I will be right with you in a minute. The because when I first enter the dealer ship Mr. Day gave us a nice and warm hello and welcome to Honda City. I will be right with you in a minute. Then when Mr. Day came over to us he said thank you for your patient how can I help you. I told him what kind of car I was looking for in he ask me have I every driven a Honda before and I told him no. He then ask me If I would like to go for a test drive and I said yes, He took me on a test drive and while I was driving Mr. Day was explaining everything too me. My overall with Mr. Day was very exciting and he was very very professional. I would recommend everyone too Mr. Samuel Day. Thanks Honda City for a job well done. More
Recently purchased 2 cars from them and had service done on one of the cars that had a recall, well drop the car off and had an hour to wait for the car so instead standing around i went to look at the new on one of the cars that had a recall, well drop the car off and had an hour to wait for the car so instead standing around i went to look at the new cars, when i got there Gilbert Gallarzo confronted me and i told him that i purchased recently 2 new cars there and one of them was a 2013 honda crv but i really like the new honda accord he said we can help you get the accord , so i said oki if you can keep my payments no more than what i,m paying now which is 479,86 than we can make a deal, he told me to wait , well some time went by and he comes back and tells me sorry we cant do same but i can do 550 for 72 months i said no the most i can do is 500 even though i dont really need a new car but if you can get me the deal i wil do it , well anyway back and forth for an hour he says we can do it for 500 but it will be 75 months plus i had purchased a extended warranty on the crv and he said if you do that deal we will sent you the money back from the warranty which was like 1300 dollars ,well i said sorry i told you the most i can do is 72 months for the last time with 500 dollars a month or i,m walking out, he said wait let me see what i can do for you i said oki , few minutes later he comes and he said i got the 500 for 72 months we shook hands and i went to see Joe not sure of his last name but i had a bad experience with him when i bought the last 2 cars in november, very rude nasty guy not sure how they can do business with that guy but anyway i said to my self let me give the guy a chance and from my old experience i ask him in front of my friend that was present at the time i said Joe are you sure its 72 months 500 a month ? 3 times he look at me was really rude and he said yea yea so i signed the papers real quick something didnt simed right like he was rushing me but anyway got the paper work got the car and went home . when i got home i think to myself something is not right why he rushed me like that so i took the papers out and sure enough it says 75 months with 500 hundread a month, i call the honda right away and told them about it ,well it was saturday late so i think let me go in the first thing monday morning to get that straight, when i got there Joe wasnt there it was around 11 am so i went to see Pat not sure of his last name bu he was very rude and said to me shame on you for not reading the papers , i got mad and told them to have Joe call me when he gets there and i left, waited till 2 pm 4 pm called few times ask for Joe or Pat kept going to voicemail ,try o talk to Gilbert same thing like the whole place ignoring me , well if thats the way you guys do business tell customer one thing and do other things on the paperwork than this is a scam not right to do that ,never mind i wont get my 1300 hundread from the warranty but got screwed on 3 extra payments a month which is 1500 never mind i got only 26000 on my trade that cost me 31000 3 months ago and the car only had 1300 miles but i,m not complaining about that the thing is dont tell someone 72 months just to get the deal going and on the paperwork put diffrent thing in person, i sell cars for a living and i would never do costumer like that , i rather do the right thing in order to get him back , and they knew i told them i was going to come back to get 2 more cars one in april for my sister and one in may for doughter but from now on i dont want to buy shoes from that dealership if they rather get 3 months out of a person instead sell 2 more cars in 3 months period than let them do business likethat but they wont get any more business from me, tought i could trust them didnt know that i had to read everything perfect or i would get screwed if i dont,my point is if you cant do it just say it sorry cant do it for that amount dont just say yes and do diffrent thing thinking that mayby i wasnt going to look at the paper work when i get home so you can pull a fast one, i got so mad that i dont think i ever buy a honda again even from diffrent dealership. ps. I ARTUR SIKORA GOT EVERYTHING STRAIGHT WITH HONDA CITY SO PLEASE DONT SENT MY REPORT More

I dont know where to star!!! Found this s2000 on their website (priced at 12.900) liked the car so i emailed them i believe it was Saturday afternoon and said that ill be there Monday to look at the car a website (priced at 12.900) liked the car so i emailed them i believe it was Saturday afternoon and said that ill be there Monday to look at the car and test drive it..... As i said went there Monday (drove from Niles 45 minutes drive) looked at the car and wanted to test drive it, a guy named Oscar was helping me and told me that i can't test drive the car because i am not a qualified buyer and the insurance wouldn't cover me!!! ( a gentleman walked in right as i was looking at the car and said he was interested and the salesman asked him to give him a minute to get the keys) So i left and looked at other cars(different places).... 3 Days later i recieved a call from a lady named "jessica Rivera" sales manager and asked me if im still interested on the car, i explained to her what happened and she told me that what the salesman had told me was not true and if i give them an other chance they would help me out. So i did and maid an other appointment with an other sales manager "Johnathan Mendez" for the upcoming Monday.... Drove there again (an other 45 minutes drive) just to find out that Johnathan wasn't there but they told me that a new guy name "Ricky Perez" is going to help me out and take the car for a test drive... (Ricky is the only helpfull guy, great person and actually tried helping me) we took the car out testdrove it evrything looked good!! we went inside to find out that the car now costs 13,985 and they said that they had made a mistake on the previous price.... whatever i wanted the car told them that i wanna apply for a finance and so we did and i was told that with the co signer that i had i would be accepted!!! so i put a deposit on the car $500 cash!!! went home couples of hours later we send my co singers info and i was waiting for the morning after to tell me that i can go get my car!!! i recieved a txt and i was told that the co signer has great credit but not strong enough to carry me... and to give them couple more hours to work on it, so i did... txted them and they asked me if i could raise the downpayment so i did by an other 500$.... waited about two hours and then i got a txt saying that the bank came back with an answer(after the managers interaction with them )... and that they didnt need my co signer but they needed 3,500$ as downpayment!!! so i got mad and i said no.... now remember i still had the deposit there so the car should still be under "sale pending" So i went there this morning(an other 45 minute drive) with the money that they asked me to get the car but i was told that the car was sold!!! (never got a call or anything about it) then tried getting my 500$ cash deposit that i gave them and i was told that they dont have cash on them and they need to send me a check home and it will take about a week ( A Honda City dealer with over 200 cars for sale didnt have 500$ somewhere? seriously) So i went home with no car no cash after spending almost 100$ on gas getting there 3 times!!! Ricky is a new sales man there and was the only one helping me... if you go there ask for him but i dont recomended!! everyone else dont know how to do their jobs in there!!! i would never go back for no reason... This was my 2nd time buying a used car from hondacity. The ony reason why i went back was because i thought i had to since i was still paying on my car note. If i knew i could trade my car in anywhere hon The ony reason why i went back was because i thought i had to since i was still paying on my car note. If i knew i could trade my car in anywhere hondacity wouldnt have been on my list if it was the last car lot left on earth. sales made good on their word to pay my old car off and to have my brakes and rotors done at their expense but service made like they were doin their job but in the end were only givin me the the run around about what was actually wrong with my car. Ive been at the dealer so many times one would think i worked there. they sale cars knowing a crap load of things are wrong with them but never disclose any of the problems until you come in with complaints and at that point they are only disclosed one at a time until your car has issues again. i was hearing a noise and service automatically assumed it was my brakes since they knew they hadn't passed the inspection when i brought the car but no one actually test drove the car to hear the noise i was talkin about until weeks later. when they heard the talk of noise off the bat they kept stating the brakes and rotors would fix it so they did them and the noise was still there. i went back and they said it was from the entire front suspension being bad so i got that fixed with my warranty and was told my car would be checked to make sure nothing else is wrong. the noise was still there i went back and was told it was the back brakes so i got them done on my own and the noise was stiil there. i had my uncle look at it and he found it to be the axles or rear gear box. the noise was coming from the rear so i feel honda citys' so called certified mechanics should have used common sense and checked all the possibilities it could have been from the back instead of sending me on blank missions and guessing what the problem was instead of actually fully inspecting my car. i called them like i did everything and the noise is still there and service is like the best i can tell you is to go to the dealer because we dont know that much about your car. ifs thats the case they should have sent me to the dealer from the start. to top it off i dont konw what happened with the previous owners but i was cleaning my car and noticed the carpet on my passenger side is gone like a shaved cat and there's a hole somewhere because oil or something is soaking in my carpet? With my 1st car from them i went through the same exact thing but it was different sales reps and service people i dealt which. i got the car and it seemed fine but deep down i feel hondacity knew the cars' many issues but chose not to say anything, i too was there so many times i could have been working there. i dont think anything was fixed on that car since it was made because i put so much money into it out of my pocket rack and pinion, brakes front and back, rotors, wheel bearings, steering wheel column because it was discontinued and mnay more parts. i got a oil change and was given a new list of issues which is why i decided to trade it in stead of putting enough money into it to make the car brand new. its sad that a company that's supposed to be so big and trustworthy will brush under the rug the fact that they sold a crappy car with a gang of issues to a unsuspecting innocent person just to make a sale. if anything they should be trying to sale their cars in the best possible condition to ensure a good reputation and loyal customers. or at least lay in all on the table and let you know whats wrong with the car instead of you finding out once your car is broken down on the side of the road somewhere. when i got my paperwork i noticed the price was 2000dollars higher than what was originally stated so i asked and was told it was taxes or something come to find out it was for the warranty that i was told came with the car, they never said i had to pay 2000 dollars for a warranty i thought it was free they never asked me anything about it. when i called them out on it one of the reps was like well you sholud want a warranty, that wasnt the point they made like it was included but in the end its 2grand. i don feel they give off a freindly vibe and their customer service isnt all that great because they tend to their needs instead of yours. they kept trying to throw me in any car despite me telling them i didn't want the car s they were offering. instead of me being in a rush to get rid of my 1st car before it completely fell apart that i should have done enough investigating that way i would have learned i can trade it in any where and could have been in a way nicer newer car for about the same as the overpriced pieces of crap honda city sales.
