I will definitely recommend him and Honda cars of McKinney to all of my friends. Justin in the finance department was also a pleasure to deal with. More
make sure you test drive long enough to find out any problem I have walked into this dealership as the dealership close to me did not have the color I wanted. Explaining the deal I have secured with the other de I have walked into this dealership as the dealership close to me did not have the color I wanted. Explaining the deal I have secured with the other dealership I have asked for the silver and with a price match. After going back and forth couple times I have accepted $200 more for the silver odyssey 2015, as it was the only color choice of my wife. The only mistake I did was trusting this dealership too much and did not insist to go for a test drive. When ask for the van my sales man stated that it is gone for detailing and washing and would be here soon. After waiting nearly for 3 hours the sales man insisted on to get the paperwork done as the van being prepared. It should have raised a red flag as a strategy to avoid a test drive. Finance department experience was horrible as the guy pushing in for all the extra and when I turned it down he was passing frustrating comments. once I signed the paper suddenly vehicle got ready. I was excited about the new van and new features and had to rush to pick up my daughter. My excitement was short lived as I inspected interior closely. Interior and exterior detailing was not done perfectly and I have seen some kind of spill near the third row seat. Then while driving i have noticed a squeaky noise on uneven pavements at lower speeds. Thinking it could be a weather strip rub or some minor issue and was planning to take it to dealership. Then another sound started coming from the front shocker. Took it another dealership to be advised to get both shocker studs, one side running board to be replaced and send it to the body shop to diagnose the squeaky noise, which they say come from body could be the result of a broken welding part. Then noticed touch up paint on both sides of the frame near the sliding door. I contacted Honda customer care and took the van to the dealership. At first they told me it was a plastic part rubbing noise which later changed to match other dealership's diagnosis of body noise. Now to tell the long story short, one month old Honda odyssey with 1000 miles will have to replace both shock stud, running board and send to body shop to tear apart the body to find the body noise. I am 100% sure that the dealership was aware of the issue and tried everything to avoid a test ride so this van can be sold. More
Slow Service Getting service done at their service center is unacceptablely slow. Waited over 2 hours for a tire pressure light check/tire replacement, and I even Getting service done at their service center is unacceptablely slow. Waited over 2 hours for a tire pressure light check/tire replacement, and I even had an appointment. It took an hour for them to let me know what the problem was (nail in tire) and then 1 hour and 20 minutes to replace said tire and change oil. I've had oil change +inspection+ tire rotations that were done in half the time and the service was more attentive. Maybe one of the nearly dozen attendants in the bay could have popped their head in to let any of the frustrated car owners waiting with me what progress was being made or what the hold up was. If not for the prepurchased service package we have I would never use their service center again and certainly would discourage anyone from making the same mistake. No amount of discounts can make up for my wasted morning. More
