In 2021, i took my truck to get the transmission fluid changed. Being a Ford dealership, I assumed correct Ford Motorcraft fluid would be used. Now 35k miles later, my truck has developed transmission pro changed. Being a Ford dealership, I assumed correct Ford Motorcraft fluid would be used. Now 35k miles later, my truck has developed transmission problems. When i pulled out my receipt from Homer Skelton Ford, I realized that not only did they not service my truck with Ford Mercon LV fluid as Ford directs, but they used a bargain brand BG non LV fluid(BG even offers an LV fluid 315 but they did not used it. 314 is regular synthetic). I called Homer Skelton service department 3 days ago to inform them of this problem and was told they would call me back. Still no call back. More

Keith Miller is an amazing salesman. He really does try to please his customers. He researches and goes the extra mile to fit their needs. Please understand that what i think is excellent is the Service Department. if i had to leave my car there they made sure i got a rental. i can't say much for the Salesmen. when i bought my 2020 Ford Service Department. if i had to leave my car there they made sure i got a rental. i can't say much for the Salesmen. when i bought my 2020 Ford Edge i felt rushed. i was nervous and the salesperson (to me) rushed me along hoping i would not change my mind. i was already nervous about getting a new vehicle with a high note. i only have two more notes to go on my 2016 Ford Edge and what i should have done was just try and finance the work that needed to be done which is figured it might have been about 5 to 6 thousand dollars. that would have been cheaper and i would have it paid off now. i understand that the salesmen job is to sell, but i also feel like with a problem like i had someone either the service department or the salesman should have put the pros and cons on the table and let me decide what to do as i am going to be the one to live with the discission anyway. no one ever mentioned to try and finance the work to be done - NO ONE. there are people men as well as women that dont know to ask these things and most of us depend on the dealership whether you are a salesman or service to help us along. to me this is an example of a dealership not willing to go the extra mile. your service department -i have had no problems with the work other than they did not even try and mention ways i could have fixed my car instead of getting a new one. They told me either get a new car or fix it. no i am not putting all the blame on the service department or sales department cause i am at fault just as much. JUST CALL IT A VERY BIG AND EXPENSIVE LESSON LEARNED!!!!!! Thank you for letting me vent. i did not work with any of the people below. I THINK i Mr. Car; Schotter was asked a question or some sort. I've purchased 3 cars from Homer Skelton Ford of Millington, and I've had a great experience each time. This time was no different. My salesman, Jack, took care of everything from picking up the car Millington, and I've had a great experience each time. This time was no different. My salesman, Jack, took care of everything from picking up the car from their MS location and bringing it up for me to inspect it, all the way to taking care of assuaging any concerns I had. Purchasing the car was also easy, as I wasn't feeling well and the day I went to look at the car was the only day I had available to purchase it. I was able to come in, look at the car, hammer out a deal, and then go home for a bit while they got all of the paperwork together to purchase it. Overall, this was an excellent car buying experience and Jack really did take care of everything! More
