I used to whole heartly recommend you, however I am a now a bit wary. A sales staff member would benefit from rembering that they should not talk over a women or dismiss them. Our personal salesperson was a bit wary. A sales staff member would benefit from rembering that they should not talk over a women or dismiss them. Our personal salesperson was respectful and knew their stuff. However, the guy who talked financial would benefit from re- training on how to talk to couples, not just the man in the room. He also doesn't need to mention how many customers have millions of dollars and pay cash for vehicles. Unnecessary and who cares! An issue arose when I called Srius and On Star to do as our salesperson said after purchasing our used vehicle. I called both companies and inform them of car trade and please transfer service from old Buick to new Buick. Unfortunately we lost the deals/pkgs, we previously had with the above companies because some how our account's were terminated and not transfered. I spoke with On Star within three hours of leaving your lot and our service deal was clearly canceled. I asked the On Star rep. who canceled our subscription. She verified it was Holms Automotive, same with Sirius. We were told at the time of purchase that we would received 3 months free of On Star and Sirius. We informed , and questioned our sales person we already had those services, no problem he said. Little did we known our service contracts would be canceled and not transferred. I believe they acted in good faith and there would not be any problems. Unfortunately there was. Afterwards I talked with the salesperson twice about our out of pocket losses, they said they would chat with someone and get back with us. Four or five days later the financial guy we worked with called me. I told him of our forty plus dollar loss from Sirius and a three hundred dollar loss from On Star. Would Holms at least split the difference since our service contracts were terminated not transferred. He mansplained to me that Holms sold thousands and thousands of cars and this had never, ever happened, Always transferred never terminated. He implied, and maybe even said, it had to be something we did to make this termination possible. He told me to call Sirius and On Star to make sure I knew what I was talking about. I told him of course I had spoken to both companies! How else could I know we lost money, and have to renegotiate new contracts when our free "trial" ran out. I sure wise I could remember his name, but there was no need for him to be condescending and flat out rude. I will admit I got rude right back to him and I'm sorry about that. I thought I was over being disappointed with this guy from Holms. In time all this will be forgotten, but re- training/reminding, if done correctly, will never be forgotten. More
