Cam shift sensor replacement Vehicle wasn't running properly and service engine lite came on. Called Holm and was told to bring in asap, same day, and they figured it out in a Vehicle wasn't running properly and service engine lite came on. Called Holm and was told to bring in asap, same day, and they figured it out in a few minutes and had fixed and on my way in about an hour. My maintenance program took care of cost. Very HAPPY with service. More

Amazing Grace I took my car in to the Service Dept to have the tires aired and walked into the Showroom to gaze at the new cars while waiting. In talking with Jerry I took my car in to the Service Dept to have the tires aired and walked into the Showroom to gaze at the new cars while waiting. In talking with Jerry one of the salesman, I shared with him the problems I was having with my 2007 Impala. He recommended that I go with a new car that would be maintenance free. They, Jerry, JR and Ross found a new one that fits my budget and is saving me a lot of worry, fear of breaking down and high repair costs. They went to bat and worked hard for me. I am now totally worry free. I appreciate them all so much. Thank you, thank you! More

Exceptional Customer Service! We were traveling cross country 12-13 August when the check engine light came on in our 2014 Cadillac CTS. Fortunately, our hotel in Salina was just We were traveling cross country 12-13 August when the check engine light came on in our 2014 Cadillac CTS. Fortunately, our hotel in Salina was just 2 blocks down the road from a GMC/Cadillac dealer. When we left the hotel on 13 August we went to that dealership and they told us it would take several hours to look at our car and that they would not be able to do any warranty repairs. They told us that Holm Automotive in Abilene could do warranty repairs so I called and talked with Greg in the service department. Greg was amazing. I called him from Salina at 9:48 AM and he told me he would have the car checked out by 11:00. We drove to Abilene and Greg took the car in right at 11:00 like he said. They found and corrected the problem. They changed the oil and rotated the tires while they were at it. While we were waiting Greg came in twice and gave us an update. After a couple of hours they were all finished. When it came time to pay I was very surprised the bill was no higher than it was. I was expecting much more. Greg and the folks at Holm fixed our car and got us back on the road with just a couple of hours delay. The service was exceptional!! Thank you!! More

I have been purchasing cars here for over 25 years and really appreciate the community support Tim Holms Family gives to the city of Abilene. This service visit did have a bit of a poor experience for me though but feel it was just a lack of communication which I understand could happen anywhere. Normally I do some repair work myself when I can and I know I should have done it here with this instance but I was getting on a plane when I had a door handle snap off in my hand in my truck, Thinking I would call right away and see if it could be ordered and in when I got back from a funeral a few days later. I was going to be at the dealership that monday anyways because my wife was picking up a new truck she had traded for anyways. Instead the wrong part had been ordered. No big deal it would just be a couple more days. What I didn't expect was that a part that costs $73.00 online that I could have installed myself, ended up being $350.00 to replace through the dealership. A call first to let me know this might have been better than finding out afterwords. It seems to me this has to be an extremely overpriced markup, but hey I should have known that at a dealership. The staff did call me to apologize for not communicating this to me and they did offer to give me a 10% discount, all good service experiences and commendable they are good guys in the service department. This being said I still really like this dealership, but will definitely request any work I have done here comes with an estimate first. More
