Purchasing a new vehicle from Hodges Subaru was an entirely pleasurable experience. Mr. T.J. Sheri made the experience easy and very positive. She went above and beyond to find the exact car that I wanted. When there was a small hiccup in the financial process, she quickly resolved it. To start I began shopping closer to home. After price checking, test driving at a closer dealer, My friends were looking for any programs I might qualify for. Costco honored at Hodges. We shopped other Subaru dealerships before going online through the Costco car buying program. But,we had already, most certainly decided that Ms. Danielle Isabell had earned our commitment. Many years ago I sold both new and used cars. So, I know that some dealerships put a lot of pressure on sales people to make presentations in a predetermined manner. My wife and I recently purchased (5/20) a new 2014 Forester 2.5i Premium from Danielle Isabell at Hodges Subaru. I cannot stress how good the experience was from start to finish. Danielle did a superb job of assisting us, from internet inquiry all the way through delivery of our new car. Neither my wife or I particularly enjoy the process of purchasing a new car. But Danielle gained our trust early on. She was always timely with replies, she was polite and courteous, she was very easy to talk to and put us at ease. When we arrived at the dealership to test drive vehicles she was with another customer but came over to let us know she would be right with us. Danielle made sure to answer my wife's questions and set her at ease, something too many salespeople fail to do. She even asked about my wife when I took delivery since she could not come and asked me to say hi, a very nice personal touch. Danielle followed up with me even on her day off, and answered all my questions. She was able to swing a dealer trade for the our preferred color and was able to get it done quickly. Price negotiations were done quickly and fairly. I believe I received an excellent price on not only my new Subaru, but also on my trade-in. Danielle was clearly interested in not just making a sale, but also in satisfying us as customers. When I arrived to take delivery she had everything prepped and I was in and out the door in about 30 minutes (which allowed me to watch my Red Wings!!!). Since taking delivery she has followed up personally to make sure that everything was too our satisfaction. Bottom line, this was the best overall car purchase experience we have ever had. We will be members of the Hodges Subaru family for a long time!!! More
I was looking for a basic model 2014 Subaru Forester and was checking inventory at local dealerships. I had purchased my 2010 Forester at Glassman in Southfield and the experience was just okay - not great was checking inventory at local dealerships. I had purchased my 2010 Forester at Glassman in Southfield and the experience was just okay - not great but not bad either. They didn't have any basic models in stock- just the higher end models and I did not want to spend that much money. I also checked with Dwyer in Ann Arbor- same thing, only higher end models in stock. Just on a whim, without checking their inventory I went to Hodges on a Saturday morning. They not only had what I wanted in stock, they were very courteous and friendly. They gave me a fair trade-n value on my 2010 Forester and a fair price on the 2014 and I closed the deal without even test driving the car. I was able to take the car home that same day, despite not financing through Hodges and not having the title to my 2010 with me at the time. Overall, I was very impressed that such a small dealership provided such great service. More
