I Took a Chance...Im in the process of rebuilding my credit..I had a loan currently owed on a car about 3600 had the loan ruffly 8months....Decided it I Took a Chance...Im in the process of rebuilding my credit..I had a loan currently owed on a car about 3600 had the loan ruffly 8months....Decided it was time to upgrade.....I Called in and Talked with Dion...Asked him about the car I was interested in...he actually put me on hold briefly, to physically go check to see if the car was available..he wasn't some lazy dude that would say and do anything just to get you down.......That impressed me!!...I decided to take a chance....When I got there ,I Met Dion and Man he was really a cool dude lol....actually promised me he could get this Mazda for me......Commended me on my choice of car....He was very respectful towards my Wife.He shared some personal background on his self which got me laughing he shared history on the dealer Hinshaws speaking highly of this place....And he delivered!!.....No money down..that was a first for me I couldn't believe it........No freaking Money down.......I said to myself what in the world.........I thought my payment was going to be through the roof it was 30 bucks higher than the previous car payment I had....that shocked me!we had discussed a much higher payment...so it shocked me in a good way ...and he got me a warranty 3 years I felt like a New man!!!!!.....Dion You the Man Bro Thanks again...if you go Hinshaws Honda in Auburn Ask for Dion ....... First Car Experience I'd gone to at least five other dealerships before coming to Hinshaw Honda to get a feel for each one to see how the sales people are and how they con I'd gone to at least five other dealerships before coming to Hinshaw Honda to get a feel for each one to see how the sales people are and how they conducted business. The problem was that if I had a friendly, courteous salesman, he would never come close to my target price, and if they got close to my target price, they'd be the rude ones, and I'd rather not give them any of my money. However, I came to Hinshaw Honda to test drive the new Civic EX 2.0, and I was greeted by Mitch at the door. I told him the model I wanted to drive and he told me that he'd bring it right over. We test drove the car and were given an overview of the car's features during the drive. I had no plans of purchasing or leasing a car that day because I just wanted to test drive, and my trips to the other dealerships were a complete waste of time. Curiosity got the best of me, and I asked if I could get an estimate of their prices for that model, and that's when the negotiations began. I didn't get to my ideal target price, but I was in the higher acceptable ballpark. It is my first car as well, so this was a good learning experience on the process of car purchasing. The entire process from walking in for a test drive to signing papers took a little over two and half hours, which I think is a win. Overall, I was very pleased, and I would highly recommend Mitch Meler as your salesman. More
