I have previously posted a review regarding leaking hydraulic fluid leaks which the dealership said they repaired but did not, but charged me anyway. I have since taken the car back to Hilton Head BMW. They checked it out and now want an additional $3500 to fix the fluid leaks that they did not fix the first time. They have offered to reduce this amount by the original $460 I paid to fix the leaks the first time but I will still have invested some $3500 (with no guarantee that they can fix the car) in this 12 year old vehicle. As my original premise was that I would not put major money in this older car, I'm pretty much screwed. I now have 2 trips to this dealership, missed a day of work and of course have fluids all over my new home garage floor. I did receive a call from someone in customer service wanting to know how my experience was. After explaining how I was taken for $460 she hung up and haven't heard from her since. I've of course taken it in the shorts over my 66 years by many people, but this one is so "scammy" I have since sent a demand letter in preparation for magistrate court. Letters will follow to Better Business Bureau, Sun City residents, Angies and anyone else that I can find. Seniors should not be treated like this. More
I had a xenon headlight acting up. It was turning itself on and off and going bright and dim on its own. I already knew it could be one of three things causing it. Well, it turned out the bulb itself was b on and off and going bright and dim on its own. I already knew it could be one of three things causing it. Well, it turned out the bulb itself was bad. I had no appointment and this dealership got it in and fixed the same day along with doing an oil change. They did the job right the first time. I was very pleased. More
