I had a horrible experience with Hilton Head BMW trying to purchase a used X3. I used their online accleride system to see if a vehicle was available and was told that it was by two different people, I ev to purchase a used X3. Since I was purchasing this from out of town, I purchased an airplane ticket to fly in and pick up the vehicle and drive it home. The salesperson knew that I was going to do that. After I did that I receved a call from him stating that someone was at the dealership now purchasing that car. All he said was that he was sorry, I thought we had a deal. I called the sales manager to complain and he gave me a different story saying that what the sales person told me wasn't correct and that car had been sold 3 days ago. So either the dealership has no idea what's going on with their inventory or they're lieing. The sales manager told me to forward him my receipt for my plane ticket to see what he could do to help me. I did that, and over 2 weeks later I have not heard from anybody. I have bought a lot of cars in my life and never had such a horrible experience with a dealership. More
Thank you Kobey Dodge! I had researched what I wanted for about 6 months. I found many, but shopping online was proving to be a joke with lots of extra fees and no negotiat I had researched what I wanted for about 6 months. She was my eyes of the car, negotiated on my behalf, answered questions, picked me up at the airport, and even made sure I had water & full tank for my long ride home. Though this dealership is very far from home, I will even consider asking Kobey for help with my next purchase. Everyone at the dealership was great! More
Shortly after purchasing my M3 (out of state) I had an airbag restraint system malfunction appear. I wanted to take it to the dealership to run a diagnostic as well as a general inspection to make sure ev airbag restraint system malfunction appear. They had me drop it off on a Friday and told me they had an “M specialist” coming in to run an update because they weren’t comfortable messing with it. On Monday I had a voicemail from the dealership asking to touch base because after investigation they recommended an entire computer module replacement due to an after market tune they believed was responsible for the issue. They estimated between 3-4 grand for the replacement. I told them I was not aware of any tunes on the car and wanted a second opinion because something felt off. When we asked to speak to this “specialist” we were told it was actually a collaborative effort and charged me 150-160 for the time spent investigating. I took it to ASM BMW in Savannah, and Alex was phenomenal. Within an hour he was able to telll it was a simple airbag sensor failure and there was no tune on the car. He fixed it within a day and charged a fraction of the price. I would caution customers to do their research and listen to your gut if something feels off More

I bought a certified BMW from these guys. Don't make the mistake that I did. Most BMW dealerships look at not only what service is due or past due but also what service will soon be due and take care of it mistake that I did. Most BMW dealerships look at not only what service is due or past due but also what service will soon be due and take care of it all pre delivery. Not these guys. If you are going to buy from them get them to write down what upcoming service will be needs, when it will be due and how much it will cost. You would think that stuff due within a few motnhs or a few thousand miles would be taken care of, NOT AT BMW OF HILTON HEAD! They also don't respond when you ask questions about service status and they promisss but don't send documentation about what they did. Shop elsewhwere! Certified does not mean serviced here!! Better stores give you more for your money! More
