Don't Trust the 100 Point Inspection My wife and I bought a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 for our son. The truck was bought “as is”, but we were told that Hill Kelly Dodge would conduct a 100 poin My wife and I bought a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 for our son. The truck was bought “as is”, but we were told that Hill Kelly Dodge would conduct a 100 point inspection. Shortly after buying the vehicle (54 days) it would not start. When we called Hill Kelly, we were told that they did not offer towing and that the vehicle would have to be towed at our expense for repair. After having the vehicle checked by a mechanic, we learned what the problem was. There was a lot of soldering in the fuse box from a temporary repair job. As a result of the temporary repair, the fuse which operated the fuel pump would not snugly fit into the fuse box and would come loose with vibration. As a result, the entire fuse box had to be replaced at a total cost of $657 (parts and labor). When we told the mechanic that Hill Kelly performed a 100 point inspection, he told us that the problem could have been diagnosed by simply taking the lid off the top of the fuse box and looking inside. We realize we bought the vehicle “as is”. Even so, we do not trust inspections conducted by Hill Kelly Dodge. Buyer Beware! If you buy a used vehicle from Hill Kelly, take it to a mechanic and get it checked out. Do not take the dealership’s word that they will do a check using their mechanics. The 100 point inspection means nothing. To add insult to injury, we went back to Hill Kelly to speak to the sales manager about what had been found. We were told to wait in the waiting room and that the sales manager (Andy Johnson) would be right with us. After an hour of waiting, we had to go track him down ourselves. Hill Kelly cashed it the next day. When closing the purchase the Finance person tried to tack on an additional 2.5% over the rate originally quoted. In my book thats EXTORTION. Something that I consider very unprofessional is the fact that I never received a thank you call or card. My Son bought his first car from HK the previous year and He also never got any followup contact, and what's sad is that "Julie" knew it was his first car. I guess HK sells so many cars that they don't need to worry about common decency. I will NEVER buy another vehicle from these clowns again. I have dealt with Aaron Tuberville in service; He is very professional...too bad the rest of the dealership isn't like Aaron. More

I showed up for a scheduled appointment to replace a recalled water pump and was told the part was not available. I was upset as I had scheduled several weeks in advance and I had called again the day prior to my visit to confirm Appt, etc. I left the dealership unhappy but knew the manager needed to be aware of the problem so they could remedy. I sat down with Ginger Wiggins and she patiently listened to my explanation and then quickly went to work to solve my issue. Her team of service writer Aaron Turberville and Beth Campbell (loaner vehicle) were also pleasant and professional in making sure I was satisfied. As we say in the Navy, "Bravo Zulu" for showing that you really do care about your customers!! More

When women are at work they have to be polite to you, and this is taking advantage of the situation. It’s harassment and no one should have to put up with it. None of us like it.) This older man did one-armed pushups in the middle of the service floor, didn’t respect her personal space, and clearly made Ashley very uncomfortable. She stayed professional the entire time though with both the guy and myself. She managed to get my car ready for an oil change in the process.
