The price of my 2004 Dodge 1500 was $5,000 higher than NADA / Kelly Blue Book value. Major mechanical problems were discovered the day after sale. I bought the truck for $ 12,899, the appraised value 30 days after purchase = $ 3,000. I feel like I purchased from "Slim Shady's" Used Auto Sales. The dealership did not handle this transaction ethically. I should have done my research prior to purchase, but I trusted the dealership. I was told the truck got 18 mpg, it gets 13 - 15. I drive 25,000 miles per year so this is significant. My fuel cost is 28 % higher than what was represented by the Salesman ( Slim Shady ). I know that I have no recourse. I am screwed. More
This dealership has cars listed on Craigslist with a message 'Call dealership for pricing". So we did. The price we were quoted was $2000 less than the actual price. And the actual price was more tha message 'Call dealership for pricing". So we did. The price we were quoted was $2000 less than the actual price. And the actual price was more than twice what the Kelley blue book value said we should "expect to pay a dealer" for the car in question. Their only response when questioned about this was "we made a mistake". Sounds more like bait and switch to me. So shop here at your own risk. More
I want to thank the finance team at Hilbish Ford for helping my son pick out his new truck. I have always been a Ford man and have bought several cars from Hilbish in the past. My son who has been out of college for three years now and had been promoted three time since starting his first job finally decided to buy his first new truck but wasn't sure which one. Thanks to the finance manager at Hilbish my son was able to make up his mind and is now enjoying his brand new Dodge 2500 Heavy Duty long bed crew cab Cummings powered truck. It was an easy decision after the crappy way he was treated at Hilbish, being told there is no way you're getting a new diesel truck you should try for a smaller gas truck and you might get that he said. My son told him no he wasn't settling and would get what he wanted on wouldn't buy anything, to which their finance manager said "good luck with that". Being told you aren't deserving of a new vehicle is one thing basically having someone laugh in your face is another. The next week we went to Stevie White Dodge and an hour later he was signing on the dotted line, makes one wonder if this clown even tried. I will never buy anything from Hilbish again... More
Once again I chose Hilbish Ford for my new vehicle purchase. In the past I have always had a great experience with them, and this time was no different. They also gave me an extremely fair price on my trade-in. I highly recommend giving Hilbish a visit the next time you are looking for a vehicle. Ask for Jason, he is a very nice peoson to work with. Our salesman, Mr. Rowland, was friendly, professional and very helpful with the leasing process associated with our new Ford Edge. When we bought our used car last month I was so impressed with the helpfulness and care I received. The saleman and used car manager couldn't be nicer. First, I had to submit important documents TWICE because they lost the first copies. I waited over a week (not able to drive the car), waiting for a one day repair to be made. Everytime I spoke with the used car department, I mentioned that the backseat needed cleaning. They failed to take care of this issue, then were rude to me because "they couldn't REMEMBER the agreement." I had to obtain a copy of the agreement, and there it was written in plain English. My husband had recorded a call where the used car manager assured us that the work would be done. We never received an apology for their mistake :( They just dismissed us and walked away. Hilbish Ford...you SOLD me a car, you didn't GIVE me a car. NEVER treat your customers in the shabby manner you dismissed me today!! I will never step foot on your lot again!! Count on it!! More
In the last several months I have needed some service on both of my Ford vehicles, oil changes, inspections, parts replacement etc. Each time David or Kelly took time to listen to what was needed, and took both of my Ford vehicles, oil changes, inspections, parts replacement etc. Each time David or Kelly took time to listen to what was needed, and took care of the service in a timely manner. With my 2011 F150 I even spoke with the mechanic (sorry I don't know his name), and David together. They listened as I explained the problem, and the vehicle was fixed right the first time. On each ocassion the vehicle was returned clean. In my opinion that is what is known as "great service". Many thanks to the Hilbish service dept. More
I took my vehicle in for service and received the worst customer service experience ever since i started bringing my car in. What happened to the personalized service that I used to receive? Or is that reserved only for customers who know an employee or spend a lot of money with you? The service manager was rude and short and treated me like my concerns didn't matter when i spoke to him and it took them ALL day to finish my car. Needless to say, my next car will NOT be a FORD.
