Tailor-Made We didn't expect to be buying a car that day- our existing Beetle was in for repairs- but we knew we wanted to replace it within the next six months. So when we got a call from Lamar Blakney about a half-hour after we dropped the car off saying that he had a buyer for it, that was pretty much it. He had exactly what we wanted ready and waiting when we came in, and we blew through the buying process about as swiftly as humanly possible. The dealership's finance officer Serghei was able to tailor-make an insurance package that had protection and replacement plans for exactly what we were interested in, with no unnecessary expensive fluff that wouldn't be suited to our needs. Because our old car needed a considerable amount of repairs, Lamar was able to find a few discounts and specials that made it so we effectively got the full blue book price for our trade in, despite the condition of the car.
