Heritage Volkswagen of Catonsville was awesome! Naz was fantastic. He was very informative and helpful throughout my entire car buying process. I never felt pressured or on a time constraint with him. When I decided to move forward with buying my car this dealership was fantastic in getting the car I wanted with the colors I wanted. They did not have the exact car I wanted but they were able to get it to the dealership less then 24 hours later. Overall, the entire process was made very simple. I felt like my wants and needs were taken into account with everything. Thank you! More

The appointment was confirmed, however, when I got to the dealership, the sales associate she passed me onto had no knowledge that I was supposed to be there. Despite providing exact vehicles I was looking at, neither were accessible when I got to the dealership. When we met Brendon, we indicated that we were just starting to look around and hadn't driven a Passat TDI before. He must have taken this as an indication that we weren't serious buyers as he disappeared for over 20 minutes trying to find the cars that we had wanted to see. To his credit, he offered us a fairly beat up Passat that the dealership had sitting out front to test drive which we declined, as we wanted to drive the vehicle that we had set up an appointment to see. We left at the 30 minute mark, not willing to wait any longer for a car that was supposed to be ready for us to see when we got to the dealership. It seems like there are significant communication issues on the sales side leading to a lack of respect for a potential client's time. Why bother with an appointment if it does literally nothing to save in-dealer time? More

But that's where the good part of this experience ends. The finance associate Mike was very strange, he kept dancing and making "DJ noises", making odd jokes, and he described a $2985 extended warranty as "2k and some change". When we saw the actual price we asked him why he emphasized 2k when it's closer to 3k he became rude and defensive. He also added a $1199 paint and interior protection plan without asking us, and tried to blame the salesman when called out on it. However we know it was him because he had a stack of the cards for the plan on his desk, whereas the salesman only had a computer and telephone on his desk. Also the car was never cleaned inside. The previous owner was clearly a smoker. We didnt notice the smell when we test drove it because we all had our masks on. However both the salesman and the finance associate mentioned that the car would be detailed while we filled out paperwork. It wasn't, all they did was smear some car wax on the exterior and they didn't even wipe all of it off. There was garbage under the seat, tobacco in the ashtray, food and drink splatters on the seat backs... they clearly did nothing to the inside of this car. The cabin air filter was never replaced despite it saying so on the Carfax. The engine air filter WAS replaced but was installed incorrectly. Hard to believe such a simple task could be screwed up but alas... There was also no owner's manual. To rectify this I've had to spend additional money on replacing the filters and the owner's manual. The airbag light was on and the dealership said they'd take care of it for free because it's a safety issue and the car is still under manufacturer warranty. However, after discovering the issues with the filters and what not I don't trust the dealership to do a good job. I'll be taking it somewhere else for service. Like I said, the car itself(aside from the dirty interior) is fine. But the experience with the dealership was garbage. I understand that as used car salesman they're inherently shady and only trying to get your money while doing as little as possible to get it, but a LITTLE EFFORT is expected. More
Naz and Justin were really awesome. They made the process of buying a car super fun and really went above and beyond. I’m so happy with my Golf. Thank you so much guys! of buying a car super fun and really went above and beyond. I’m so happy with my Golf. Thank you so much guys! More

I would love to give this dealership 5 stars. However, due to absolutely terrible customer service, 1 star. I'm active duty military and needed to register my car in Florida. I purchased my 2019 VW Tiguan in Oct 2019. It's now March 2020 and the car STILL ISN'T REGISTERED!?!? This process should take at most, a month. But, due to the inefficiency, lack of communication, and lack of care from the staff, I've just been issued temp tag after temp tag. This is the second car I've purchased from the mileone auto group but will likely be the last due to the poor customer service provided to active duty military by the staff here. Im so disappointed as the initial service was great but it has gone as far downhill as possible. I just want them to do their job. Perhaps then, I can give them a better rating. More
