I had a very poor experience at Heritage Toyota. The salesperson I worked with was new and very friendly, but seemed to have a very difficult time finding the cars I wanted to test drive. I specifically asked to test drive one model of a car, and he brought the next level up anyway. The dealership was noisy and hectic. I observed a lot of people sitting around and waiting to be helped, while many employees at the dealership were casually loitering about and chatting to one another. They didn't even have enough chairs for the customers and their own employees to sit down and talk to one another. There wasn't enough parking for people who were visiting the dealership. After leaving the dealership to test drive some other cars, I came back to look at prices and colors. The salesperson said that he could not give me any estimates until I chose a car from the lot. I chose a car and then asked to see the prices. I was very clear that I was interested in a particular lease special. The Sales Manager came back with a price that was $60/month more than the special offered. I asked him to explain this and he was unable to. Even accounting for sales tax and registration, the number was way off. He left and came back minutes later with a number $50 less per month. I was appalled that they were unable to explain to me how they had come up with the original number and were unable to admit their mistake. The dealership contacted me and eventually gave me the answer that the car was "not the exact match" to the lease special. Of course they didn't mention this when I selected it. Apparently a $200 difference in the price of the car would have cost me an additional $2,160 over the course of a 36 month lease. I went to a different dealership to get the same car. They treated me with kindness and respect. More

My wife and I were just out to test drive Hybrid vehicles to see if they were for me. We had no intention to not keep driving my Subaru, but I was so surprised by the power, comfort and economy of the Prius to see if they were for me. We had no intention to not keep driving my Subaru, but I was so surprised by the power, comfort and economy of the Prius that after looking at the rest of the area cars dealerships over the next couple days we decided to get a Prius from Paul Coleman at Heritage. Paul was extremely helpful, zero pressure and super accommodating. Our experience was so positive, even never having been a Toyota driver before; I would strongly recommend the Prius, Heritage Toyota and Paul Coleman and his team. More

Everyone was extremely helpful and thorough. They worked with us based on our needs and concerns and came up with a solution so that we were able to acquire the vehicle we wanted. Their staff had the courtesy to walk away when we needed a minute alone to discuss things. Our Salesman offered us refreshments and showed us around the service area and introduced us to other staff that would be available to service our future needs or questions. Just an additional note: Having known Jim Johnson for over 25 years we've put our trust and faith in him at many crucial points in our lives. We truly believe he always has our best interest at heart and consider him a good friend and confidante as well as a reliable sales person. More
I went into Heritage Toyota after seeing a specific used Rav4 online. That vehicle had been sold so I test drove a new 2010 Limited Rav4. I loved it!!! Heritage is big operation and it shows. On any given Saturday they can be very busy. I went down there early last Saturday because I saw a car I was interested in at a low price. At 5:30pm I drove out with a vehicle I felt good about because it was a good price for the car. One of the advantages that a big dealership like this has is buying power. Because of that they sell some of the vehicles with fairly deep discounts. The downside is almost all of their staff is swamped and they can afford to lose your business. I worked with Sue Perry who is clearly a caring, kind person. I was happy to work with her because I felt like she saw me as a person and not just a sale. Its a scary thing to buy a car and she was very helpful and stayed with me throughout the long day. Its clear however that Heritage works under a high pressure sales technique and that Sue had been coached to bristle with suggestions of lower prices or added value such as free oil changes or other such dealership based incentives. It was clear to me that this was a dealership-wide sales motto. Some modern dealerships have gone to a low pressure atmosphere and that may be more well-suited for some. As I said, Sue was really very patient with me and found me a car I felt great about. And her manager Jason seemed caring as well. I would encourage Heritage to expand their office and financing for busy Saturday traffic and allow their sales team to be a little less aggressive when a customer negotiates. More
I went into the dealership on a Saturday to look for a new Rav4. Ryan showed me all the models available on the lot and encouraged me to take more than one for a test drive. When I spoke with him on Monday and told him I still wanted the Rav4 but would need more time to sell my car he was willing to work with me. I finally sold my care and purchased my new Rav4 2 weeks after my initial visit. Ryan was extremely helpful throughout this process and completely changed my view of the "typical" car salesman. I was greeted by Landel at the door who wasn't pushy at all. After test driving the Matrix Landel introduced me (and my boyfriend) to everyone who we'd be interacting with if I decided to buy a car there. They were upfront and willing to help me make the decisions necessary without being pushy. When I decided to go with the new car they helped me get the payments to what I could afford and were really willing to work with me. They didn't play lots of games but gave me a fair price. As a first time car buyer I was glad to not have to play games and felt really satisfied with my experience and my new car. I was nervous about buying a new car so when things went as well as they did I was afraid it was too good to be true - but it wasn't. I would definitely recommend Heritage to anyone, especially a first time car buyer who's nervous and afraid of being pushed around. More
