Interesting reading other reviews and seeing/ knowing that some of the dislike listed I actually experienced at another Toyota Dealership (not R&H). Toyota Corporation needs to hear from ALL with such ex that some of the dislike listed I actually experienced at another Toyota Dealership (not R&H). Toyota Corporation needs to hear from ALL with such experiences because this is a bad reflection of a major Corp. My experience at R&H was great. I went in with a somewhat complicated situation and my salesman Kal was on it. He did what I feel was the best that he could do with my situation and although I'm not where I want to be with the vehicle of choice it is a vehicle that I actually LOVE. Thank you KAL for your help, go see him for our future Toyota purchase(s). I would've given 5 stars but the finance agent blocked it with a bad comment to me (thank Connie). More
This is my 3rd time visiting R&H Toyota for a car. I have leased two cars in the past and my most recent visit was for a car for my 17 year old daughter. Every time I have gone to this dealer I have be have leased two cars in the past and my most recent visit was for a car for my 17 year old daughter. Every time I have gone to this dealer I have been very pleased with my experience. Rob Steiner is always very helpful and does not put any pressure on you like so many other dealers tend to do. He listens to your needs and always delivers. I would definitely recommend this dealership as well as Rob to anyone interested in buying a car! More
I am a 'mega commuter'. I drive 100+ miles per day. I cannot use public transportation because neither the MARC,Metro or any buses go near my workplace. Also none of my co-workers live in my area day. I cannot use public transportation because neither the MARC,Metro or any buses go near my workplace. Also none of my co-workers live in my area so I can't carpool and I won't move because I love my home. My older 1997 paid-off Toyota Corella was a wonderful car but it was not handling the long highway drives every day very well and unfortunately some unexpected repair bills drove me to get a new car suddenly (I wanted a new car b/c I would be putting so much mileage on it every year). I wanted a fuel-efficient car and because of my positive experience with Toyota I decided to get a Toyota Prius. However, I did not have the funding to get the impressive Prius V and the monthly payments for the regular Prius were very high so I was worried how I could afford this unexpected bill. I came into this Toyota dealer with a heavy heart as most people come when they have to get a new/used car suddenly that they did not budget for. I spoke with Dennis Margroum and was very glad for it. I will admit that I went to several dealerships before R & H. It wasn't a pleasant experience as the car dealers just wanted me to spend as much money as possible and buy/lease the most expensive car with all the bells and whistles that I did not need/want without considering my financial situation. There wasn't much haggle room because Prius is a high demand car. However, Dennis was unlike the other dealers. He listened and was sympathetic to my situation. He didn't try to offer me an expensive car with lots of bells and whistles, he didn't make me feel stupid by pulling out the pad of paper and old fashion calculator and filling up the entire page with some random numbers that they knew would mean nothing to me. He didn't push me to lease a car because of the mileage I was going every year (I know getting a lease on cars is a boost to companies because you always have to keep coming back so they get more business). He was honest and said even though I liked the roomy interior of the Prius and the power of the Prius V, I should stick with the Prius C (the smaller version). At first I was unhappy with it. It really was small and looked cramped compared to the other version. But Dennis explained, not unkindly, that although the Prius was better, the Prius C was not that much different and was more affordable and within my means. He showed me that even a few thousand dollar difference could affect the monthly payments a lot. If he was like the other dealers he would have explained how I NEEDED a sunroof or NEEDED heated seats and how I NEEDED the more expensive car but instead he went for the cheaper car saying he wanted us to stay in budget (I know dealers get commissions so most dealer always try to sell the most expensive). We drove in the Prius C and it wasn't that bad honestly. He explained to me future options on what to do with the car. He didn't talk down to me and he treated me with respect and not someone that was only interested in boosting his quota. Dennis helped me for hours and even called to check up on how I was handling the car days afterward. He was patient and understanding and I really appreciated it. I checked the price of the car online at Kelly Bluebook and Edmunds.com and realized that I had gotten a good deal on the car so I was very happy. Even though I had not planned to get a car that day I was satisfied with my purchase and I haven't had buyer's regret. I think that is because I got to talk with Dennis and he explained everything clearly and helped me with my situation so that I know I wasn't ripped off by a car scam that so many dealerships and their dealers practice. I would recommend going to R & H Toyota and speaking with Dennis Margroum if you need a car. More

My salesman, Joey Cheng, was extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the car and didn't put on any pressure (which would have caused me to leave). He was very professional and pleasant. It was actually a very positive experience and I felt that I was getting a fair price. I will definitely return for my next car. What brought me to the dealership was that they were the only dealership in the area to stock the two colors I was interested in! More
When I purchased my car from R&H Toyota, it was agreed that they would have a tow company pick up my disabled vehicle from a mechanic's lot. The tags were transferred and I technically no longer o agreed that they would have a tow company pick up my disabled vehicle from a mechanic's lot. The tags were transferred and I technically no longer owned the car. Almost a month went by and the my old car was still sitting in the lot. I contacted the sales department several times, asking for them to follow through with their end of the deal. Clearly, it was a burn and turn situation. R&H made a sale, got paid, then who cares about the mechanic who kindly let my car sit in their lot for a couple days. A couple days turned into a month. 5 months later, the car I purchased wouldn't start, so I reached out to R&H's service department to have it towed. I selected the premium warranty upon purchase of the vehicle and figured that any mechanical damage would be covered. R&H contacted a local tow company (Apex Towing) and sent them to help. During the tow process, the driver caused significant damage to the bumper of the car. The tow company refused to accept responsibility for the damage then created a lie that the damage was my fault. The entire staff at R&H Toyota insisted that this problem was between me and the tow company despite the fact that I am a customer of R&H, R&H called for the tow and the cost for the tow was on R&H's bill. They sent me on a wild goose chase to track down the owner of the tow company when in fact, R&H are the ones with the ongoing business relationship. R&H Toyota and Apex Towing could've quickly resolved the problem by fixing the damage to the bumper for very low costs I'm sure. Instead, between the two companies, they dragged me through the mud for a month causing me to miss work and waste countless hours. After speaking with multiple attorneys, I heard the same advice. In the end, the dealership is to blame and they're ultimately responsible for making it right. What they failed to acknowledge is that my wife and I have purchased a total of four cars from R&H Toyota over the years. We're a young couple with 5-10 more purchases to make in our lifetime. I couldn't believe how little they valued our sales/service business. BUYER BEWARE! More
I had an emergency due to a "Urgent Safety Recall" and had my car towed to NTB. I needed to get it to a Dealer to do the work and called RH ---just a little over a mile away from where the car Recall" and had my car towed to NTB. I needed to get it to a Dealer to do the work and called RH ---just a little over a mile away from where the care was towed. They were beyond rude--refused to accept the car without an appointment and said they wouldn't cover the tow to them. When I asked the service rep his name he hung up on me. I called back and reported the experience to the receptionist and plan to call Toyota directly tomorrow because I don't think this Dealership cares. I then called Russell Toyota and was treated like Royalty! They arranged for and covered the tow--they are going to check the car right away and offered me a rental. That's Customer Service and that's where I will buy my cars in the future. More
I shopped around for the best bargain on a new Toyota Rav4. I search the internet for about a week and I noticed that everyones prices were going up except R & H toyotas. So I contact them through the in Rav4. I search the internet for about a week and I noticed that everyones prices were going up except R & H toyotas. So I contact them through the internet because the dealer was a good distance from my area. Josh Brenner from internet sales responded immediately to my email requesting information. I was a little worried for several reason. I never purchased a brand new vehicle, I didn't know how my credit score was and I didn't want to high of a payment and other reason. But I talked to Josh probably for about 3 days then I finally went in to the dealer. He introduced me to Dennis Margroum. I informed him what I was looking for, what I wanted to pay and how much I wanted to put down I even told him the model number that I had been looking at the last past week. We went out on the lot and he let me look at the vehicle. He even asked me if I wanted to drive it. I told him no because I didn't want to be disappointed if I couldn't get it with the payments that I wanted. We went back in, he gathered all my information that I shared with Josh, and went into talk to Connie the finance manager. He came back out a few minutes later and told me lets go test drive your new car. I was completely shocked. Dennis and Connie are the best I have ever dealt with. I have always bought used vehicles but never a new one. I have always spent hours in a dealership. Not with Dennis and Connie. They are really great and if I ever need another vehicle, I would definitely go back to R & H Toyota. Everyone was so friendly, nice and professional. I don't think I could have asked for a better experience. Dennis is a great sales person. He is not pushy like most dealers. He is very sincere, and personal about your needs. More
I don't know if the this guy (Mr. Gary Singh) really knows and understands what business is he in. He has been the worst sales rep I have ever wanted to see and deal with. Thank God I didn't buy a car f knows and understands what business is he in. He has been the worst sales rep I have ever wanted to see and deal with. Thank God I didn't buy a car from this dealership. The people here are non trustworthy, liars and have no respect for their customers. When I walked into this dealership because Gary told that he could convince his manager to offer more discount. But when I walked into this dealership he just transferred me to another sales rep (Rob Steiner). This guy and Gary didn't even care (due to lack of respect, courtesy to their customers or irresponsibility of their duties) to treat me as a customer. This dealership charges the processing fee of ($200) and some other fee (>210). I can understand the processing fee of $200 as all dealers charge this fee. But this another charge is just to suck more money from their customers. They apply the 6% Maryland tax on the processing fee as well (which is first of all not required by law). Also, these people secretly access your credit report by asking for your driver's license. I won't even buy a car from them even if they would have offered me $1000 less than any other dealers (btw they didn't even offer a single penny less). There can be a never ending list of complaints about this dealership which won't make any difference to them, but I am writing this review so that future buyers can be aware of what they can expect if they ever buy a car from this dealership. Worst service. Scion Trunk latch broke. When I called dealership to make appointment, woman that answered informed me that this was the 4th one that week and led me to believe that it would be covered un dealership to make appointment, woman that answered informed me that this was the 4th one that week and led me to believe that it would be covered under warrantly. Since I had the car in for service I asked for some additonal work. I received a call to inform me that the trunk repair was not covered and basically I was out of luck. The cost of the other repairs was too expensive. When I picked up the car the cost of the repairs was more than I was told. The service person got someone, they never introduced themselves. He said this is what Franz quoted you. I said it wasn't but to no avail. R&H may have gotten over me on this repair but they lost a good client. More
