So, I drove 3 hrs from Central NJ to buy my new 2011 Camry LE (mostly to save money----which I really did). Upon arrival, I was greeted by a friendly sales lady and then shortly thereafter Cory came. It wasn't long before he showed me the car and then giving me the opportunity for the test drive. After the test drive and the usual insurance paperwork, Cory brought me into the Finance office. The finance office turned out to be the biggest surprise of my day. The really nice lady there informed me of their 0.0% financing (which I had no idea about). I was in shock. So rather than going with my bank's 2.99% rate (which I also had to shop around for), I went with the dealership and I was approved...just like that. I couldn't believe it. So with all the money I saved, I purchased a Lo-Jack system (definitely recommend to others). And within a few hours, I was heading back to Jersey in my sweet new ride (not to mention a sweet deal on top of that). Summary of my car-buying experience: Friendliness of Staff: A+ Sales Pressure: A- (what do you expect, it's a car dealership) Easy-to-get to (the dealership): A Waiting Time: B+ (had to get the Lo-Jack installed) Car-Buying Options: A+ (LOTS to choose from) Knowledge of Staff: A+ Overall Rating: A+ As I said earlier, I traveled 3 hrs to go to this dealership and it was well worth the trip. We really had terrific service from our customer rep. He was efficient, gave us a lot of choices to look at, gave a terrific price for our trade in and went out of his way to help us. All of the personnel that we met, from the customer rep to the financial rep to the person who helped explained options to us regarding an additional warranty, were friendly and knowledgeable. The price for the new car that I bought was about five thousand dollars less than than the new Taurus I had originally planned to buy. I had a wide selection of cars to choose from and was encouraged to take my car for a good, long ride We also got an excellent rate for the financial backing after we did the trade in and after putting down a down payment for our vehicle. Even our credit union could not beat the interest rate, and that's saying something. I love driving my new Camry. It is quiet , handles well, rides smoothly and is just a joy to drive and to ride in. The customer service that Kelly provided was outstanding. When I arrived for my appointment, the dealership was swamped with service calls. The wait was estimated to be 4-5 hours. Without hesitation, Kelly arranged for a shuttle to take me home and then promptly had a driver pick me up as soon as the service was complete. Not having to wait while the service was done was wonderful...it didn't feel as though I had to give up several hours of my day since I was home during that time. More
I was reluctant on my visit today to purchase a vehicle ,buying a new car is stressful. I had done research on the vehicle that I wanted but I knew my choice would be turned around, changed, or not availab ,buying a new car is stressful. But that was not the case I was pleasantly surprised on how my salesman worked with me and his staff to get me to the point i was totally satisfied with my decisions before I left the showroom. I've been to Russell Toyota to have my brakes replaced and most recently a belt replaced. When I called for this most recent problem, I only had one day within that week that I could take off of work in and most recently a belt replaced. When I called for this most recent problem, I only had one day within that week that I could take off of work in order to have my car fixed. The sales people at Toyota were so friendly and accommodating. I called on a Tuesday afternoon and they were able to take it in on my preferred day, that Friday at 9:30 am. The work was completed before I knew it and they were able to do it cheaper than other dealerships I've been to in the past. I would recommend Russell Toyota to my friends and family any time! They go out of their way to help you! I will be giving them my business from now on. More
I purchased a slightly used camry from Russel in 2007. It has been a fantastic car. There have been no major problems with my camry.
