I spoke to Mr. Jones several times on the phone and did my internet research. The price advertised was the price we paid without surprising add ons. I will be very frank and say that my initial dealing with Russel Toyota were not stellar. I experienced a none to pleasant encounter with both Matt Bukowski and Ryan Pope and my initial ratings for Russel w Russel Toyota were not stellar. I experienced a none to pleasant encounter with both Matt Bukowski and Ryan Pope and my initial ratings for Russel were straight 1’s. However, the General Manager Wade Sterry entered the picture and my opinion of Russel Toyota turned a full 180 degrees. Wade interacted with me in a professional and courteous manner and he assured me that future encounters with the Russel sales force, by me or others, will be a positive experience. Businesses are run by people and people make mistakes. The mark of a truly good business is the way that they deal with mistakes. They can sweep them under the rug with the attitude that there are other fish in the sea or they can treat each customer as an important part of their business, as future customers that they want to come back again and again. Russel Toyota, in my opinion, falls in this latter category. This is clearly important to Wade Sterry as the General Manager and I have no doubt that he will continue his work to instill these principles throughout the Russel Toyota organization. I did not change my scores from all 1’s to all 5’s because my dealing with Russel did start on a rocky footing. That said, I would highly recommend anyone interested in purchasing a Toyota, or in having their Toyota serviced, visit the Russel Toyota Dealership. I fully expect that after my future dealings with the dealership, as I will most definitely have my new Toyota serviced by Russel, I will score Russel with all 5’s. Thanks again Wade. More
I recently purchased a "new" car from Russell Toyota in January. I must say that the service that was extended to my husband and I was beyond excellent from the time we stepped foot in the door. We received immediate assistance and was made to feel like our business was very important to them. We received undivided attention which was very important to us. Our sales associate was very patient with us and allowed us to make our own decisions without feeling pressured. Aside from that, about 3 weeks later we noticed a small ding on the trunk and decided to take the car in for repair. At that point our original sales associate, Austin, managers, Sara and Mat came to our assistance to make sure we were completely accommodated that same day. We left the car for repair, was issued a rental and before 10am the next day, I received a call from Sara telling me that my car was ready for pick-up. AWESOME!!! That confirmed that we made a great decision in choosing Russell Toyota as our car dealership!! Thanks guys for having an awesome team!! Catrina & Gil More

I have never been disappointed with their service -- they are fair and friendly, and have made a few Warranty repairs to each vehic done by Russell. After much online research, car dealer visits, phone calls and stress I was referred to Calvin Pernell at Russel Toyota by a friend of my husband's. Calvin helped to relieve a great deal of my stress a calls and stress I was referred to Calvin Pernell at Russel Toyota by a friend of my husband's. Calvin helped to relieve a great deal of my stress and anxiety in purchasing a new car for the first time in over 10 years. He put me in the car I wanted, with the options I wanted, for the price I wanted. Calvin accomplished all of this by generating a level of trust between us and relating to me as an informed consumer with an eye on the bottom line. I have a great deal of respect for him as a sales person and a person of integrity. I was also pleasantly surprised by the respectfulness and warm attitude of the rest of the Russel team, including the receptionist at the front desk that located Calvin for me when I first arrived, the lady that went over the undercoating, and paint protector options, and the finance man, Jay. Especially Jay - I was very insistent on comparing his calculations to those on my calculator. He was soooo patient. As Calvin showed me where I would bring my car for service, Aaron Slaughter, the Assistant Service Manager, gave me his card and encouraged me to call him personally to schedule appointments. Even the young man that I rode with to put gas in the car so that I could take it out for a test drive was warm and personable. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by my interactions with each person at Russel after very negative experiences at my last car dealer. I hope to continue a positive relationship with Russel in the future as I return for servicing on my new Rav4. More
