For the last 14 years, I have been a satisfied owner of a 2006 Forester, and was very interested in how the 2020 edition compares. I was not disappointed. First of all, I was introduced to Abby Diallo who did a fine job of providing me with all the information that I needed with regard to the array of vehicle options and features in the new Forester line. Abby was very professional, answered all of my questions, and is just a very nice person. She was super to work with. After test driving the Limited Edition vehicle that I was interested in, and being presented with a very good price for the vehicle, the decision to make the purchase was a no brainer. All in all, my experience at Heritage Subaru (over a 4 hour period of time), and in particular working with Abby, was a very positive experience. More

Made us feel like family My wife and I were in need of a new family car and had three brands in mind. When we got to Subaru, Abby welcomed us and like any good salesperson, go My wife and I were in need of a new family car and had three brands in mind. When we got to Subaru, Abby welcomed us and like any good salesperson, got to know our needs. She listened and took a genuine interest in our family. Abby set us up for a test drive in a Forester and we immediately fell in love with it. However, we wanted to do our due-diligence on the other brands. We also had to get back home in a timely manner. Abby did not pressure us to agree to purchase the car on the first trip. Robert met us before we came out and he too understood our situation and didn't pressure us to buy. A few days later we came back wanting to test drive the car one more time. Abby set us up for the test ride again. Following the conclusion of the ride, we talked with her some more about the trim level and the color options. Again, we were up against the clock, but we knew we wanted the car! Abby sent us an email with the color options available and we made an appointment for the next day. Robert met us at the dealership the following day as Abby prepared the car. He sat down with my wife and I and we had a nice talk before he started to get some numbers for us. Abby came in and helped with the negotiations. It took just one back-and-forth before we happily agreed to the deal. We finished up the paperwork and had our new, safe, family car! The staff helped answer any questions and concerns we had, checked in and was respectful of any decision we made and didn't get frustrated when we had to continue to leave. After working with Abby for three days, it no longer felt like we were dealing with a salesperson, but rather a friend. I highly recommend Abby, Robert, and the rest of the Heritage Subaru Catonsville team to anyone who is in the market for a new car and want an enjoyable experience! More

Unprofessional sales rep The sales rep did not know the car we were pursuing. It seemed we were bothering her and she sighed several times during our encounters. While purchasing the car, the sales rep showed her frustration because it took awhile (not that we were happy with spending so much time at the dealership). After signing the papers with the finance department, we had to go back to her but she was eating her dinner. As soon as she saw us, she sighed again. Disrespect! I thought I was the customer. The manager was appropriate. The dealership needs friendlier sales reps and ones have knowledge about their cars. More
