She knew that I wanted this car and it was my first time buying a new car. After the test drive, she took the time to help me with all the questions I had. I felt really confident that she was there for me and to insure I left with my dream car and happy about the business aspect of buying a new car. I got to drive our new Subaru Crosstrek home well after midnight. It was quite a pleasant experience. We will to come back and pick out a Subaru for my wife sometime in the future. Our salesman Steve Sherman was genuinely nice and friendly and fair, and made the buying experience straightforward and stress free (which is not always the case when buying a car!). We got a great deal on a great car. We liked the Forester so much that we traded in my wife's car and bought a second Forester from Steve last week. If I didn't need a truck for work we'd probably have 3 Foresters. More
Very bad customer service We came in on Saturday to look at a car we saw online. We were told the car was in service, but that it was available. We did a test drive. We made plans to come back in today (Monday) to buy the car. After waiting for two hours this morning, we were finally told that the car was sold to someone else. We inquired about another car and were told it was $21K, but we had seen it online for $19.9K. We were given the run around and had our time wasted over a car they had already sold to someone else. They did nothing to try to make the incredibly bad customer service right, they just kept wasting our time. I would not waste my time here. Go somewhere else! More

I did not have to be sold on the automobile I wanted as I was replacing an Outback and wanted another one. After I picked the color, extras and price, Steve went to work and got exactly what I wanted. After the purchase, I also thought everyone I worked with were pleasant and explained everything well. I started shopping for a 2015 SUV and did not have any specific model in mind so I started researching. I stopped in at Russel Mazda to drive a drive a Mazda CX-5 and ended up also driving a Subaru Forester and learned so much about it from the salesman Steve Sherman. He spent nearly three hours with me showing me around, driving the vehicles, talking about our daughters and life in general. Yeah, I realize that is what salesmen do but it was truly a great experience. In the end of all of my researching, driving different SUV's I honestly still wasn't fully decided but I ended up coming back to Subaru and getting an awesome deal and I now have an awesome 2016 Subaru, not a 2015 SUV in my driveway! Best experience ever so anyone searching for a Mazda or Subaru should stop in and I bet you will receive the same great experience that I received. More
Best car buying experience yet I've had 2 used Toyotas and 3 new Toyotas but decided to switch to Subaru as they have a better safety rating. This dealership is great. Where a hand shake means absolutely nothing! I feel compelled to write this as I have not had a worse experience purchasing a vehicle. It started well as I had taken in another vehicle into serv I feel compelled to write this as I have not had a worse experience purchasing a vehicle. It started well as I had taken in another vehicle into service, a 2006 Subaru Legacy, and my service guy was Finn. Finn gave me a loaner vehicle while my vehicle was being worked on. My vehicle was in service for about two months when I decided that I would just trade it for a newer model. I met with a sale associate on Wednesday August 5th and decided on a vehicle. I came in the next day to test drive my vehicle as it was in another city. I test drove a 2013 Subaru Legacy Sport and then purchased it. The problem came when I was working on the deal with my sales associate. The sale price of the 2013 was $18,900, and I was offered $8,000 for my trade. I did not want to fiancé more than $10,000 and was looking for $900.00 more on the trade, or for the car to be reduced by $900.00. After some back an fort my sales associate, Mr. White, went to his supervisor and when Mr. White came back he gave me the typical "Congratulations". Mr. White stated that my offer would be accepted and I was ready to purchase. Mr. White then left to work on the financing piece and then came back with the details of the purchase. As I looked over the details I realized that I did not receive the other $900.00. Mr. White did not tell me that the purchase was not being reduced by $900.00, and when I questioned him about it he said that the district manager was in and over ruled his supervisor. I told Mr. White that we shook on the previous deal and that he told me I would be getting the additional $900.00 of help and that he needed to make it right. He then went to the district manager who came to speak to me and he told me that several people messed up on my deal. He told me that my trade in was not worth $8,000 and that it was worth $5,000 at the most. I told him that me and the sales associate shook on the previous deal and he then asked the sales associate if this was true. The sales associate verified that we did shake on the previous deal because his supervisor approved it, but the district manager was not willing to honor it. He stated that if I did not want to make the deal without the extra $900 of help then he would be happy to just let me walk because he was losing money already. My current car had already been at the dealership for over 2 months so I just took the deal. I could have not been more unhappy with the district manager and how I was treated. I also work for a local hospital that has purchased 7 Subarus from the dealership. I like Subarus, sadly I will not be back and I will ask that my hospital take the business elsewhere as I was the one responsible for obtaining all of our Subarus. I hope $900.00 was worth it Mr. District Manager. More

He was very patient with us and our questions and spent all the time necessary to make sure we understood. There was ever any high pressure or pushing us in one direction or the other. He encouraged us to take our time, to test drive whatever we wanted and was always cheerful and kind. I would highly recommend Kevin to anyone looking to make a purchase at Russell Subaru. I would also like to thank, Danny Rosenfeld, Justin Cleaver, Scott Feinstein, May Farris, and David Gruner for making our experience at Russell Subaru a positive one. The day we were there they were shorthanded with people out sick and on vacation, but they went out of their way to accommodate what we needed. Overall a wonderful experience!
