I visited a few dealerships, and I'm very glad I went with Heritage. I started with a request for price quotes through an online service, and Heritage was one of the several area dealers to respond. Their first price was very good compared to other dealers, and based on my research (on Edmunds and other sites) I could tell it was very good by national standards. I stopped in without an appointment and first dealt with Chuck Hanna. No pressure, confirmed the price, and gave me good information about the vehicle I was interested in and comparable used ones. When I next stopped in, Chuck wasn't there so I dealt with Joe Ski. Also no pressure, let me drive the car alone (I prefer not to have a salesman talking to me while I test drive), and was very informative. Joe promised to take care of me, and he did, from my early inquiries straight through to handing over the keys and teaching me all about my new car. Especially when I made an offer Joe bent over backwards to accommodate me. The dealership gave me a fair value for my trade-in. (You can always get more selling yourself, but I didn't have the time to trouble with that, and I knew from my research that they their offer was reasonable for a dealer trade valuation.) At closing, the finance guy was able to beat the already very low interest rate I had been approved for. I should have come with better research on extended warranties before closing, but even after closing, when I learned more about my options, I articulated my needs and manager Michael Rohrbaugh promptly and generously responded. Not every dealership would offer such attention and service. These folks know that it is always good business to serve the customer with honesty, fairness, and integrity. I would recommend them to anyone seeking an excellent deal, a smooth car-buying experience, and the confidence of working with people of good character. Thanks Heritage! More
I went to this Dealership because I had dealt with Heritage when buying two other vehicles a Dodge Van and a Nissan Versa. I have riden in a Honda CrV and really liked the feel of the car and felt it would be the best vehicle for me. To be sure I did checked with other dealers on a Toyota RAV 4 and a Chevy Equinox. I then knew the Honda CRV would be my vehicle of choice. So I decided to stop in at Heritage to discuss price and the value of my trade. Mr Mason was great to deal with he all the information I needed on the Honda readily available and was able to give me the trade price on my Nissan. I have to say the service was exceptional and I never once felt pressured. And to Mr Mason credit our entire conversation was positive and all my questions were answered quickly and correctly. I went to the Heritage Honda used showroom looking for a used car to replace the Subaru Outback that had recently been totalled in an accident. I left without buying anything because I wanted to look at some other options elsewhere first and check out how competitive Heritage's used pricing was. Frank called me two days later to follow up - I asked him to call me the next day, as I was at another dealership looking at cars. When Frank called me back the following day, he offered to show me the new Hondas (next door) since they were having a financing sale. I told him my parameters regarding pricing. He called me back within a half hour with the new sales manager on the phone. The sales manager, Steve, returned my call with some pricing options that were within my range. The following day, I visited the new Honda showroom and was given courteous service by Frank and Steve and I walked away with a brand new car and the feeling of excellent customer service. More
I just purchased a 2010 Honda Odyssey Touring from Chuck Hanna. I was pretty set on buying a Sienna but wanted to check out the Odyssey before making a final decision. Chuck quickly walked us through the features of the Odyssey - I really had not researched it much, and he was very knowledgeable about the car. In about 15 minutes I felt like I knew as much about the Odyssey as the Sienna, which I had been researching for about a month. When it came time to discuss pricing, they were very straightforward, and offered an excellent price for the vehicle. They didn't have the color I wanted, so they exchanged w/ another dealership. When we picked up the car, Chuck walked us through all of the features (and there are a TON) and assured me I could call him any time if I forget anything - even if it's a year from now. And I believe him :0 I was very excited to purchase my first vehicle in about 9 years, but I was dreading the process - I felt very comfortable at Heritage Honda and look forward to working with them again! in december 1997 i bought a new 1998 honda civic dx when this dealership was known as griffith honda - i recently traded in my civic (had over 234,000 miles on it) for a 2010 honda accord lx - i had a great this dealership was known as griffith honda - i recently traded in my civic (had over 234,000 miles on it) for a 2010 honda accord lx - i had a great and rewarding experience dealing with mark bratman - from the time i walked into the door to obtain some accord literature i felt very comfortable talking with mark and eventually dealing with mark - he was upfront with me from the beginning and wasn't the pushy type of salesman which my wife and i don't like to deal with - it took me over a week to finalize a deal (after reviewing and entertaining offers from other dealers) and i know that i made the right decision buying the car from mark - my wife didn't go with me when i first took the car out for the test drive but when i decided to buy the car from mark she went with me and test drove it and said that she would buy a car from mark anytime(for me wife to feel like this is a huge compliment and shows how good and comfortable mark made her feel) - i highly recommend buying a car from mark - it really feels good to know that we made the right decision in purchasing our new vehicle from mark and the mileone group in westminster - WELL DONE MARK!!!!!! My 2007 Accord needed a new evaporator (for the ac)- there was a flaking defect. The repair was still under warranty, so an appt. was made (for a Wed) and a new part was ordered. Once my car was dismantled for repair, the part that was received was defective, so the repair couldn't be completed in the 4 hours as promised. I was given a car to drive, and I would have to come back the next day (Thurs) when it was ready. The call came too late in the day for me to get to the dealer before service was closed. So, the next morning (Fri) I arrived for my car. When I got in it to cool it off before leaving, the ac was blowing hot air. I had to leave my car for the weekend. I left again with the "loaner" car. I expressed concern about having to return to the dealer again. Malcom, the service tech, said he would get my repaired car to me and pick up the loaner. On Mon the repair was done, and Bill brought my car to work and picked up the loaner. In addition, the next day (Tues) Malcom called to make sure all was ok with my car. Malcolm and Bill are very conscientious and courteous, and know that customer service is a priority. They have been a joy to work with. The service dept. and the dealership are most fortunate to have them on their staff. I know I am grateful for all they've done for me !!! Thank you, Nancy More
I had requested Joe after reading so many good comments about him and I wasn't disappointed. I had been shopping at another Honda dealer across town and had been told by them that Honda had approved my fin about him and I wasn't disappointed. I had been shopping at another Honda dealer across town and had been told by them that Honda had approved my financing and all I had to do was decide on a car. I couldn't find what I was looking for there but I did find it here with Joe. After picking out the car, he handed off the deal to Mike Lincoln in finance and to my surprise mike found that there was no approval in Hondas system for me. He worked really hard to get the bank to accept the deal, since it involved negative equity and only good credit from me. In the end the deal worked out exceeded my expectations! Joe is one xxxx of a salesman, he offered me free drinks and let me use his desk phone to setup insurance calls and to contact the current Lien holder. The bottom line is that these guys treat you like family and this was easily one of the best dealership experiences I ever had in 20 years of car buying. Thanks again Joe and Mike. More
We feel we received excellant assistance pricing and looking for a new Honda. The Sales Consultant Bernie went over all the features and pluses of the Honda CV of which we were interested. Especially when we were looking at the purchased auto he pointed out all the features and answered all of our questions. He couldn't have been more informative. The general mgr. Michael Rohrbaugh worked with us to determine financailly what Honda could do for us and what was most affordable for us. All aspects of this purchase was performed by a very organized business eliminating any stress from the buyer. Lastly Tom Henigman the Serv Cons. was responsible for all the final signing and closing of the deal. This buying experience couldn't have been better. More
