We met Chuck via email, through Consumer Reports' Build and Buy service. Rather than treating the cost like some kind of grand mystery, he was the first--and only--dealer to give us an actual price, compl and Buy service. Having bought a number of cars over the years, we were quite clear as to what we did and did not want. Chuck was helpful, honest, very informative, relaxed, and completely no-pressure. He tried as much as possible to let us know precisely what would be at the dealership when we finally came out to see the car--and we drove that car home the same night. Our old car was in pretty rough shape, and when we asked about a trade-in, he told us there would be 'some value' to it, but advised us to try selling it on our own, to get a better deal. We both really appreciated his honesty and common sense on all levels. He, and Mike Lincoln (the financing salesperson), made this entire experience painless--not something people usually expect when buying a car. When I went in to Heritage Honda Used Cars I met with Duffy Zepp and some of the staff there. I was very relieved in knowing that there was NO push salesmanship; meaning they wanted me to be sure of wha Duffy Zepp and some of the staff there. Duffy Zepp and I sat down and went over downpayment, trade, and what I wanted to pay. With all of this information he talked to the finance officer and gave me vehicles to look at. I was very happy when the finance officer and Duffy told me about the GAP insurance for my vehicle (I had never heard of it before). My purchase was a relaxing and satisfying time. Adam was very helpful finding a trailblazer with the right features and in the right color that i was looking for. I would definitely do business with them again because of him. The rest of the experience was not so pleasant... The paperwork took about 2 hours after the sale because of their ancient point of sales computer program that continued to lock up and give them issues. The gentleman actually said they had this problem frequently. It may be fixed at this point, but that really put a bad taste in my mouth about the whole deal. More
