Prior to going to Herb Gordon Subaru, I had dealt with another local dealer and ran into a stumbling block. Exasperated, I visited Herb Gordon a couple days later to test drive a Forester XT. Knowing I was ready to make a purchase, they went out of their way to locate the exact vehicle I wanted. My salesman, John Ritchie, actually traveled to Philadelphia to personally pick-up my Forester and deliver it to the dealership. My experience when I went to pick up my new vehicle could not have been smoother. I couldn't have asked for better customer service and, though it's a bit of a hike, I anticipate returning to Herb Gordon for all of my service needs. More
Herb Gordon was able to find the exact Forester I wanted, no unwanted options. The sales process was so smooth and easy. The finance department was also impressive, the lease choices were very clear. I was very impressed by the good service at Herb Gordon Subaru. My Forester was just barely over its 50,000 mile drive train warranty when the engine started to sound bad; I had previously had this same Subaru. Now a major repair was called for; Ken Hanscom took the issue to Subaru, and they agreed that the repair would be covered under the warranty, even though strictly speaking they didn't have to. That spoke very well for Herb Gordon and for Suburu itself. Then a few days later I was back at Herb Gordon, because I was still hearing an odd noise; Shawn and I drove around the block and of course the noise couldn't be heard, but he took my story seriously, looked over the car and tightened up some things, and the noise is gone. Once again I was not charged. Shawn's approach was conscientious and skillful, and again Ken Hanscom was going out of his way to give excellent service. More

They even fed me pizza and coffee because I hadn't eaten before I came. The process was very quick and easy from the first moment I walked in the door all the way to the finance department. And after hearing horror stories from friends at other dealerships I was relieved that my experience wasn't another horror story to tell. I would definitely recommend Herb Gordon Suburu, actually I have already told my friends all about them. And I love my car, so I'll be back again. More

My wife, daughter, and her boyfriend arrived at the lot on May 31 and were immediately impressed with Lakshman's style: helpful, straightforward, informed. We test drove a used vehicle and were convinced that this was the car. The stated price was reasonable, but Lakshman coordinated a non-threatening negotiation between the sales manager and us and we quickly arrived at a final offer that was extremely satisfactory. The subsequent dealing with John Doherty to complete the paper was smooth, helpful, friendly, and efficient especially considering that a recent storm had taken the main computer system offline. The car was prepped and ready to go as soon as the paperwork was completed and Lakshman then walked my daughter around the car - inside and out - pointing out features, controls, etc. We drove off extremely pleased, satisfied, and content. Total elapsed time was 3 hours including the test drive. Extraordinary. Best auto purchase experience I've had in 35 years. More

Reading and hearing stories of mistreatment of a customer by a salesmen I was nervous going to purchase my first new car on my own. I found this dealer online and it was the first place I visited. I also wanted to let people know that I own a Chrysler, and that Herb Gordon can still do work on your car (it just can't be manufacture warranty work). I felt I should take the time because to write the review because I can't say enough good things about them. For Chrysler customer's looking for a great shop, I can't think of a better dealership to take your car to. More
