Treated like I was a moron I brought my Toyota 4Runner in for its last "free" service at 25,000 miles and while at the counter I asked Alyssa what the next service would cost. I brought my Toyota 4Runner in for its last "free" service at 25,000 miles and while at the counter I asked Alyssa what the next service would cost. She said $239 and the 35,000 mile service was even more!!! What? You've got to be kidding! She explained the filters were expensive. I mulled this over in the waiting room, looking up the cost of filters on my iPad. Within 45 minutes she was back with bad news: I needed an engine air filter, $37, and a cabin air filter, $60. I declined. The cabin air filter, Toyota brand, is $20 online but better ones are $11. Open your glove box, there is a plastic tray in the back, pull it out, remove the filter, put the new one in, replace the tray, put all the stuff back in the glove box, close it. I have a video of my four year old granddaughter doing this in one minute ten seconds! I gave her $5. The filter was $9.84. The engine air filter is under the hood. Four metal clips off, housing off, old out, new in, clips on, hood down. About a minute. Filter: $14.40. Herb Chambers Auburn insulted my intelligence by quoting me ridiculous prices. Anyone paying these should have their head examined. Kennedy Lidonde sold me the car, nice guy, but I won't take his calls nor emails. I will never return and never buy another Toyota because of this experience. They will never see this vehicle again. If I need warranty service I will go to another dealership. More

I have a service warranty for my car but had never used it and had no idea how to move forward with the repair. As I'm sure anyone who has had a vehicle that needs a repair while you're 3 years into paying for it knows that can be stressful. Service advisor Martin Dodd was a fantastic help! He contacted the warranty company explained to me what was covered, ordered the parts, and even arranged for the rental car ! Which was a 2015 Camry, which I was sad I had to return ;) . All in all they kept me informed of the timeline of the repairs and helped with all paperwork and I would use them again in a heartbeat! More

There is another Toyota dealer closer to me but I was not I have owned 5 Toyota products. I recently bought an Avalon from Herb Chambers of Auburn. There is another Toyota dealer closer to me but I was not satisfied with their service so this time I decided to try Herb Chambers in Auburn. I buy Toyotas because of their quality so for me the only real difference between Toyota dealers is how they treat their customers. My service experience at Herb Chambers of Auburn is the absolute best ever! I am especially pleased with Martin Dodd. He makes you feel like he really cares about you as a person, not just another service transaction. For example, I had a warranty issue which I explained to him and he took responsibility for seeing to it that I was treated right. I felt like he was my advocate, not an adversary. Well Done, Martin!
