I just want folks that read my review to be clear on this - it was NOT a misunderstanding on my part. I specifically said "Corolla Cross Hybrid" and they said they had two in stock when they in fact had ZERO in stock. They had one non-hybrid on the lot that had been sold. I specifically scheduled an appointment for a test drive two hours after I made that call. There was never any car I could test drive. The salesperson I was passed on to said he had to go seek special permission just to see if I could drive the car I had come in about, that had been sold, around the dealer parking lot. Then he gave us a non-hybrid and did not mention what model it was. Then he tried to give us paperwork on a car that we should put a deposit on sight unseen, in order to get the car I was trying to test drive. What other conclusion is someone supposed to make other than the dealer was trying to make a sale in a very unethical way?
